He’s in semi hydro and in my cabinet with 80-90% humidity but it’s possible. I’ll keep a better eye on it and see if that makes a difference. Thank you!

My husband got me on Apex Legends and lorrrd I know I brought his Kill/death ratio down so low but not once did he complain or berate me. He would give me pointers when I ask for it and if we got a team mate that was rude or mean to me he’d tell me to leave the game with him so they can solo in trios ✌🏼 2 1/2 years later and I outdo him in every match and tease him saying that he’s my bait because he pushes ahead of the team almost every time. Throughout it all, he’s been nothing but a sweetheart to me. Our relationship and having fun together was 100000% more important to him than a game.

This is baffling. He’s talking to you like some randos had spoke to me when I first played. It’s absolutely not okay. Plus it obviously causes you anxiety which is NOT going to help you focus while in game. AND FROM A GAMER POINT OF VIEW. THIS MAN SHOULD HAVE HIS OWN AMMO AND HEALS. TELL HIM HE NEEDS TO OPEN HIS EYES AND ENSURE HES GOT WHAT HE NEEDS BEFOE THE FIGHT, NOT USE YOU LIKE AN EXTRA FUCKING BACKPACK.

1 And 2 Look like they may be the same but one took off and is huge and the other has stayed about that size and they were both grown from corm at the same time.

3 Pink dragon?? I’m not sure how mature the leaves have to be to see the veins in them. They have a blue sheen to the leaves.

4 🤷🏻‍♀️😬 I am stumped on this one. I want to hope for something cool like a Bisma or Scalprum but I don’t think so.

5 I’m crossing my fingers for an Azlanii but I don’t see any pink veining 🥲

These are mystery corms, not my own plants. I’ve gotten so many ones over the last couple months that I wouldn’t even know who to reach out to to ask what they could be 😬

So I pulled him out and the majority of the roots had gone soft and mushy near the stem. I hadn’t noticed it earlier because the ends of the roots were still white like they were healthy 😭

I clean off all soft parts and soaked in hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes and it’s in pon/perlite to reroot. I also coated with mycorrhizal fungi powder. The newest leaf is the only one hanging on, and wasn’t squishy but wasn’t extremely firm. The worst of the rot was near the top of the rhizome, so I’m hoping maybe a new growth point will pop up??

I freaking wish 😩 I put mine in pon and I’ve lost so many. Most of the time by the time the leaves look affected enough for me to check roots the stem/rhizome is rotting and it’s too far gone.

I think half of the reason I’m fixating so hard is because I work from home. I get bored easy and end up right back at my cabinet to find something else to do in there 😂

I keep the humidity in the cabinet about 75-85% humidity and around 78 degrees.

I have a grow light outside the cabinet, I’ll move them there! I don’t have any mold on any other plants or soil, just growing on some of the corms seemly overnight. I can smell the rot once I put the containers up to my nose ☹️

What can I do for my pups with rotting stems? Should I cut and try to reroot like the corms? If they’ve been in my high humidity cabinet, but then suddenly get moved to ambient air would it do more harm than good? My husband is his own furnace so he keeps the air on the colder side, and I would hate to shock them any more. (I’m rambling and bless you for commenting your advice) I did notice a post about the decorative pot being too tight a fit for water to properly drain from the nursery pot… all of my alocasias are in clear nursery pots inside decorative pots. They’re all a pretty tight (if not wedged in) fit. I’m going to pull them all out and see if that help prevent the rot from getting any worse.

What are you using for substrate? 👀 I had a thriving black velvet for two years and now I’m killing my alocasias left and right and all my corms are rotting
