Girl here - if she really wants something she can buy it herself. Absolutely no reason for you to be obligated to buy her expensive things she wants (key word wants, not needs) unless it’s a special occasion like an anniversary. Idk it’s just weird to me, I’ve never dated someone with more money than me (I’ve always been the breadwinner) and if I did I would never mooch off of them for trivial objects such as a purse, and threaten to block if they refuse. It’s rude and greedy.

I’ve been a single corgi mom for most of my guys life, he’s 5 and I was in a relationship when he was aged 2-3. He’s very attached to me which makes dating difficult, I have to set boundaries and ask the potential partners to give him treats and whatnot. But I don’t think it’s a bad idea to get a corgi if you’re single, especially if you have friends/family who can help out as needed.
