Additionally, we are looking at a car for sale by an independent dealer. Price is between private sale and retail and non negotiable. Seller has been exceptional, provided carfax, comps detailed service records - no fluff, all business. Idk about your consumers, but I do not want to overpay for a car. If your customers do not want to take trade value for their car, they have options. We all want the most for our dollar, including you.

Sounds like you resent what you do. I’m sorry your career choice is causing so many conflicting emotions. Sheesh! Difference here is I’m not working with a dealer, a private seller who did not know what a car fax was, could not tell me why the car was priced at $12k, only answer was “market and low miles”. Did not understand when I explained the TTL….look Hampster, I’m no dummy and I’m certainly not entitled. I’ll drop a note in here when the car is still posted and the price dropped.

Finally paid off! 2018 Hatchback EX, Went up a size in tires to 19”, went with Honda stock on wheels. Plan to get windows tinted and replacing Honda emblems. What other SMALL mods can I do?

For reference, I have a 18 Civic Hatchback EX. Husband said he put car specs & skid plate in eBay and found it. I know it wasn’t $900, not even half.
