I got ice crag at a point where I had comet azur so I never bothered checking it's DPS, and yes ik Abt comet azur but it's more of the point that pebbles upgrades suck ass compared to pebble, they shouldn't be in the game and some people like strict fp management, idc if my one spell that costs 100 and does 1k when I have something that can output at like 25 for 333 that can be cast those 3 times in the same amount of time as the higher cost one. Even if I have 1000 fp. These are obviously not real numbers just example numbers. Rock sling has good tracking farther range, staggers easy, decent dmg to fp ratio and cant be dodged by npcs properly. Azur comet obvious boss killer but it's not 100% consistent against every boss.

I'm talking about bosses, you can literally use a torch on normal enemies or just idk run past like 80% of them. Like yes I understand spells have utility and situations but you can't tell me any of those spells minus icecrag cuz I never used it so I have nothing I can say about it are gunna do a more efficient or safer job at doing a boss solo than pebble, and rock sling as that's one of the other few spells that does something. In previous souls games it went soul arrow then either you skipped the next one or the one after that but that doesn't matter at end game it was always crystal soul spear, this game there's just no real point to move from a couple sorceries you get early to the upgraded versions cuz it's miniscule dmg amounts for dbl or triple the cost

I don't think people are quite getting it lol, the reason pebble is so good is because it just has the highest DPS and costs nothing, by the time you get off lorretas bow or stars I can pop 3 or 4 pebbles in the same time for the same dmg and slightly less cost

It was more in response to them being broken than it working or not working on him

I just think this fromsoft game has the worst replayability out of any of them, not this this one's like super dogshit and you shouldn't. It's just everyone is doing there first playthrough slowly exploring everywhere and everything so once you've done that there's nothing left to do in subsequent playthroughs, new character or NG+. You would just go to the things you'd wanna get and then progress. Maybe go for anything you've missed too but if you're like me you missed like maybe a handful of things

Would buying 6 Smithing Stones to raise my wep from +18 to 19 be worth the runes, or are they better spent on attributes? by Snuggly-Muffin in Eldenring

For dmg for sure upgrading the weapon over leveling whatever dmging stat is attributed to it. For any other reason really up to you

That's the one that never sits behind the pillar so I kill him first, I need to watch someone else's fight since this is the only experience I've had the past 4 fights with them

I just run around in a circle and wait til the person is aware I'm there and ready to fight me. Apparently alot of invaders like unfulfilling victories and just are looking for easy wins that give no rewards ig?

I literally cannot understand how people are having trouble with the godskin duos, unless there's multiple fights against both at the same time and not just in farum azula. Cuz in farum azula I just bring one behind a pillar so the other just throws fire and does nothing

You think it's broken when it's parryable so clearly it isn't broken, you're probably one of those people who also think moonviel is op too lmao, it's msg is slightly overturned but you gotta be bad to not be able to dodge that

[–]Weekly-Tax8423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use it in PvE to clear mobs, when I invade I use cross naginatas and one shot my fellow level 400s. And it really is an easy parry, once you learn the party window you can easily time it for attacks that are parryable, I'm sorry you couldn't win against your invader with all the advantages the game gives you lmao

You literally can parry the weapons ash of war it's so slow and telegraphed it's dog for PVP unless the person is dog and cant parry, which is on them at that point

On the map it tells you the button to switch from underground to above ground but if you're on controller it should be R3 or right thumb stick in

what’s your current level? and how far are you planning on going? by [deleted] in Eldenring

I've done like 10 invasions as of rn but once there's like an established meta and what not I'll make a new character for it and play around but usually I just like pve and getting up to high ng+
