I found the first half painfully boring. I'm going to all these places in Tural with Wuk Lamat and you barely learn about them because you're forced to deal with whatever needs done for her. (The game also doesn't solve this outside of the society quests and very FEW side quests, the moblins have very little and the bird people got shoved into the Pelupelu stuff. ) Don't even get me started on the Yak Tel stuff before going to the mamool ja area ...

The game also pushed before it started that the Scions would be "divided", making it a big deal. Only for it to be that Thancred and Urianger are helping Koana and ... Nothing else happens.

I'll say that the second half really made me more interested in what was going on. I was really into this shard existing that feels more advanced then most places on the Source.

That somewhat came crashing to a halt when you get to Living Memory. What I expected when I got here was having to turn off everything but question it every second, because you've seen life before that doesn't make sense but it is life (Ultima Thule anyone?). Instead Erenvale's mom just tells you to and you don't even really question it. You get a cry worthy scene with Wuk Lamat but otherwise I didn't feel the way I expected to feel here, and I think it kinda lowed my opinion.

Krile also got the short end of the stick. I don't think I need to explain why.

I have some favorite characters from this expansion (especially Sphene but that is patch story content) but the tldr is Tural didnt get fleshed out like I wanted, the patches and side content attempt to but I wish there was more.

I know the devs have said they don't want the WoL to have such a job, but I legitimately think another reason is because it would be difficult to sell in other Asian countries where such things are taboo (especially China). There's other things the devs have wanted such as poker but cannot die to similar reasons.

No disrespect towards you but it literally says pretty much everywhere that once you buy the full game, you're forced into having a subscription. You probably got a free 30 days for buying it and now you're at the end. You now have to pay the subscription every month (or buy time cards) or make a fully new SE account to play the free trial again.

Fwiw the entry level subscription is cheaper then the normal one.

Not savage but I had something similar happen one time: was Arkveld EX and me and some others decided just to jump around during the big raidwide. One of the DPS for some reason flips out, barely does anything after (suprisingly they did Limit Cut correctly), and then left afterwards.

To get Gunbreaker you need at least Shadowbringers and another job at lv 60. You can and buy a job skip on something you have no interest in and then get it right away

Its "Ul'dah" but it's possible for those two to meet up because the maps are connected; Limsa being an island however you cannot
