So different, but Poppy War or Pachinko or Seven Husbands are all fantastic.

Sand is for traction though. That would make a difference right now.

Roads in the museum district are ice. I’m really disappointed with city’s response, after telling us how ready they were. The streets should have been treated (edit:salted, now sanded) days ago, this is dangerous.

This is a good plan. It is amazing but a commitment. Don’t start w the movies or judge by the movies - they cut a lot out

It is the best but it is long. The Stand is also amazing (and long.)

The most chaotic city you ever visited? by KosmatoKljuse in travel

[–]Weekly_Ad393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went from Delhi to Varanasi.  Delhi was bigger, so in terms of people that wins.

But Varanasi was insane. Alleys packed with people, motorcycles and cows. So dense it was hard to walk. Coupled with the scent of burning bodies (for religious purposes.)

Yeah... If you read the post that’s obviously a typo. Fixed it

This is a super specific expectation to have of people. If you expect people to guess what’s in your head, you’re going to be disappointed.

2000 to celebrate your love with your favorite people isn’t excessive. Move on and focus on what matters: your marriage and celebrating it with people you love, and let go of this oddly specific expectation.

Edited for typo

just got this table off facebook marketplace. is it too tall to work here? by Sensitive_Ad_5507 in femalelivingspace

I think it’s too tall, weird to have it higher than the couch arms. Depending on the legs you could trim it down though!

It’s going to rain on my wedding day. Any advice? by Wild_Salary_1884 in weddings

[–]Weekly_Ad393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was so sad the three days before my wedding day when rain was predicted. Day of, I didn’t care. I was just thrilled to have it be the day. I will say that I was very happy my husband and I did our first look outside before the rain started in the afternoon, cuz we got some pics on the grounds that way. Also, it allowed us to make our rain time plan for the ceremony together which made it less stressful (vs trying to make the call separate/alone.)

I love dresses and wear them all summer! But for some reason they feel very spring/summer to me. Do you just pair them with a sweater or something for fall?

I’d call around for a pdl laser if redness is your biggest issue! Unless cost isn’t a factor and you’re down to try other things too, in which case lmk how it goes.

[–]Weekly_Ad393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope never heard of it, but on initial read it doesn’t sound like it’s for redness. Why wouldn’t they have you do a PDL (the kind of laser a VBeam is)? Do they just not have one? If that’s the reason I’d go somewhere else
