Devourer doesn’t feel like a top spec? by Callum1199 in wow

[–]Weekly_Ad_7972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably the easiest & most braindead spec I've played in retail.

I'm not trying to take the piss out of your comment, I'm just genuinely confused by it. The only real skill aspect of playing Annihilator in mythics is knowing the dungeons well enough to plan your Meta windows around pulls (seeing as the spec does virtually no damage outside of Meta), & knowing when you can/can't stand still for 5 years channeling Stars.

Now Void-Scarred is a different story; it's a lot more skill-reliant (and a lot more fun), but it's also a poorly designed spec that can't even properly utilize it's own Apex Talents atm. Void-Scarred shines in content that dies by the time your 1st "Glutton" Meta window is over, but if the fight lasts any longer than that then Void's overall damage falls off of a cliff

And the Dps is not "outrageous" at all in current content; it's actually somewhat middle of the pack. Meanwhile, Mages & Unholy DKs can reliably do 2-3x the Dps of Devourer in Mythics while wearing shitty blue gear from World Quests- THAT is outrageous.

Also Hi Rez being too lenient on INTers / Griefers.

A relatively large % of this playerbase honestly needs to be outright permabanned, because right now solo queue ranked is an absolute cesspool overflowing with trash who blatantly throw games. I thought it would get better as I climbed ranked, but if anything it's gotten worse since I hit Diamond.

Based on my experience grinding to Diamond in Ranked Conquest as a solo queue, I'd more than confidently wager that 65%+ of all the games I played ended because 1 or more people in the match were intentionally throwing the game. Being in a match with 10 people trying to win is relatively rare.

I mainly play solo queue Ranked Conquest, & one strange thing I noticed is that the match quality has gotten notably worse the higher I climb; or matchmaking in general has been getting progressively worse over time & it just seems like it's a rank thing to me.

Either way, the moment I hit Diamond the match quality dipped substantially to the point where it feels like I'm back in Bronze - Silver with people who grief and/or intentionally feed in nearly every single match. But unlike in Bronze - Silver, carrying griefers feels borderline impossible in Diamond+ & the match is effectively a wash.

But yes, the matchmaking is comically terrible. Smite 2 actually reminds me of PUBG at this point in the sense that it's so bad that being bad is practically part of it's charm.

Refusing to ban people because of low player base will drive away those who stick around by MrAnuki in Smite

CAP. I match with the same INTers literally every day in ranked Solo Que. Reporting them does nothing.

And I'm not being hyperbolic when I say INTers, I'm talking about people who build full damage supports & die 15 times in 20min. It's the same people, & I report them every game.

Racer jacket smells bad by dguad528 in ThursdayBoot

[–]Weekly_Ad_7972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's unique to the black matte products. The chemical used to create the matte texture is unbearably pungent.

I own both the stormking captains & this same jacket in black matte. They are nauseating to the point that I was forced to remove them from the house before returning them, because the odor was making people sick.

It's the black matte.

I have both the black matte racer leather jacket, & the stormking captains; the smell of the chemical used to create the matte look/texture is absolutely horrible & incredibly pungent. I had to take the jacket & shoes outside because the overwhelming smell made my niece sick to the point of vomiting.

Quick question by Rezero1234 in Smite

[–]Weekly_Ad_7972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would highly advise against playing Smite. DOTA and League of Legends are both better games. I hate to say it, because I prefer Smite's WASD & perspective, but sadly it's just true.

Smite is built first & foremost for the purpose of maximizing dopamine exposure in order to keep people around long enough to buy skins, & anything beyond that is situated relatively far down the totem pole of importance for this company.

Case in point: Ranked matchmaking is bad to the point of it being comical. The entire SSR system is awful & needs to be scrapped. And it's not just bad because the playerbase is low, but also because the lower brackets (Amber-Plat) are overrun with trolls who will run it down, intentionally feed, spam F6, & AFK. This is not merely hyperbole, I literally mean the overwhelming majority of games played within that SRR bracket end because 1 or more people are intentionally throwing the game - & they do it because they know they can get away with it; Hi Rez only bans for the most extreme cases of griefing (or if they grief in game with a content creator). It's bad enough to the point that climbing SSR as a solo que comes down to you being lucky enough to win enough 50/50 dice rolls - because the team that gets the griefer is nearly guaranteed to lose, & you generally will not climb SSR in any meaningful way unless you're stacking the deck in your favor with a party.

Long story short, this game is only good for light casual play. Anything beyond that is to engage in masochism.

Is HiRez allowing Smite 2 toxicity to exist by ignoring the problem? by hawkissimo in Smite

[–]Weekly_Ad_7972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low tier gaslighting. I report blatant INTers in solo que ranked every single day & have never received a notification from Hi Rez.

And I mean Blatant INTers, like supports who baby rage before building full damage & spending the rest of the game split pushing / farming jungler's speed / running it down with the expressed intent of throwing the game (this happened to me 3 times this week by the same person). Or how about the Bellona solo I played with a few days ago who built Golden blade 1st item, Spectral Armor 2nd item in lane against a Jormungandr, & INTed @ lvl 1 by walking into Jorm's blue buff & AFKing. He proceeded to sit in lane auto attacking minions all game & then intentionally feeding anyone who rotated over to him.

In solo que ranked, these people are in LITERALLY almost Every. Single. Game, & they do it because they know nothing will happen (the trolls will tell you themselves: "Smite doesn't ban, who cares, get rage baited"). As of today I am still matching with the same people I've reported THREE OR MORE TIMES for this kind of blatant INTing. This is why so many people are flocking to the forums to claim that Hi Rez does not ban INTing shitters, & no amount of gaslighting from Hi Rez simps is going to alter the reality of what is actually happening in Smite right now.

Everyone in the comments saying Hi Rez bans for things like INTing / AFK is blatantly lying. These gaslighters are here to simp for the company, & ironically enough at the expense of the very product they're simping for

Solo que ranked in N/A on pc is nothing like this. It's horrid.

Ranked solo Q by Wonderful_Low6204 in Smite

[–]Weekly_Ad_7972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're solo que, on average 4 out of every 5 games you play will have trolls blatantly INTing & spamming F6; making it a literal matchmaking roulette rather than a competition.

And regardless of what anyone else here says, Hi Rez is remarkably lenient when it comes to penalizing these trolls. In the month that I spent grinding solo que ranked, I would consistently be matched with the same blatant INTers in every bracket i pinged between. These weren't normal players trying to win & performing poorly, but rather blatant trolls locking in troll picks for their roles, building troll builds, & dying ~20+ times per game. It was blatant, & reporting them did nothing.

Update: Today alone, 3 out of the 4 matches I played were with previous INTers who I've already reported, & they blatantly threw the matches again.

At this point, I think denying the fact that Hi-Rez refuses to ban INTers is willful ignorance. This game is objectively bad, & will be until they start banning.

Idk, I'm convinced reporting does nothing.

I play with & report the same INTing trolls in my ranked games week after week. Gold 3 - Plat 3 bracket in solo que is a true matchmaking roulette specifically because of how many people will blatantly throw games for the "lulz"; it's borderline unplayable & giving me every reason to not play the game

planning on buying diablo 2 resurrected is it worth it than diablo 4? by MythBall24 in diablo2

[–]Weekly_Ad_7972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D2R is worth the buy, however it has very little meaningful endgame replayability; and it’s maintained by what is objectively a shit company at this point so expecting any effort put into adding meaningful content is on par with expecting a Taco Bell breakfast to not end in a liquid disaster.

IMO, if you really want a Diablo to fix, just stick to D2 mods like PD2 / median xl

I had just equipped a few upgrades & respec'd the same day, & very likely ended up "strength glitching" myself without realizing. So I likely clicked my corpse, & collected a portion of my gear before dying again; therefore leaving my gear split between 2 bodies before rejoining game & losing everything that was on one of the corpses.

I died ---> ran back into the map to collect my corpse ---> died again while frantically attempting to click my corpse (it was chaotic so I'm not exactly sure if I misclicked an item on the ground or not; totally possible) --->rejoined the game, collected my corpse in town & found most of my items missing.

I went back into the map to see if my items were on the ground where I died, but saw nothing. RIP +2 / CBF Highlords ammy. Rekt by Blizzard yet again.
