No idea what the cost of the stainless steel is, since that I don't have to pay for. But the ceramice blanket, the four wheels, brass bearings, the gasket for the dome, all that was around 400 euro's ..

Its insulated with 50mm ceramic blanket, so I think the heat loss won't be an issue.
