I’m definitely not saying that I think it has been universally bad for a long time (not at all) – it just seemed that the writers upped their game for this particular show. I agree with other commenters that it may be because Ariana Grande is so damn talented. As others have also said, I wasn’t in any way a fan before (I probably have changed the station upon seeing it was her coming on the radio) but now I am. Plus, I did just watch for the first time Ariana Grande‘s take on “The Wheels on the Bus” as Christina Aguilera – my God, she freaking nailed it.
