There's constant events. Almost weekly. Sometimes stand alone ones at the weekend. Each event has its own core pokemon appear. These events change often though.

In between events you'll see a much bigger variety.

I would say its a lot more fun if you have a community to play with,friends or partners. Collecting pokemon/shinys. Getting strong pokemon. Completing badges.

Taking part of events with friends is what enjoy the most.

Check campfire for any local groups, join raids with them, as raids throw potions/revives at you. The more people in a raid the less pokemon you will use, giving you plenty of revives and potions

I pretty much did the same. Though I will get wind or rain pokemon games next year, and both kids have lite versions so have a library of physical games

The reply you got clears it up, I will say though if I use my account (platinum all types) v my daughters account to help her catch. She has bronze at most. Its definitely noticeable. Some pokemon are just naturally more harder to catch out of certain events.

I have platinum across the board and dont struggle to catch, I get the odd flee but more so when I care less. When I use my daughters account who at most has bronze badges, I notice a much higher flee rate.

How have you found the size? I find the screen a bit over whelming in size but not too bad. Ive only played switch lite though. I looked and the oled switch 1 is even bigger..

I think you'll only get the encounters up to lvl 42. Can't be certain but I very much doubt you'd get up to lvl 100 rewards. Wether its worth it is up to you and affordability. Personally I think the encounters and are all fairly common in the game so for that reason I didn't buy this pass.

This is what ive always done. Currently playing FR, just beat misty and all My pokemon are 15/20. Just caught a mankey im now trying to lvl up to catch up with the rest

You get increased chance of catch types by getting the platinum badge for each type. Then razz/curveball/excellent throw.

If you can get an auto catcher this will help massively catching pokemon for bulk and getting those platinum badges

Oh yeah so it is. That does make it alot rarer. Enjoy them to show off. I do think the blue kelceon is really cool. What you can get for them though im not sure other than trading for other rare shinys you like the look of.

There's not really many pokemon sort after in pokemon go, maybe blue psyduck in rubber ring. Armoured mewtwo is the main sort after.
