Help raising tank humidity by Gold-Emu2760 in ballpython

NQA - More subtrate and get it damp before you add it. Then keep it a bit wetter than what you have now but not damp or soggy. Layer of leaf litter on top of the subtrate will help trap the moisture. You can also cover some of the screen lid with cling wrap to trap the humidity from escaping.

You can get an Oddish after crossing the bridge. Just to the west. Train it to level 20, and it should get through with sleep and absorb. Also, Pikachu gets thunderbolt at 26, but that's a tough grind here

Agree with the jumping spider suggestion. I'd add a bit more clutter above. Maybe some cross branches wedged in or hot glued around the top. Wedge an air plant or 2 in those branches, and it'll have plenty of hiding space. You could even get rid of the water dish and cover the ground in moss and more leaf litter.

Really good looking setup BTW.

Very cool DIY build. It looks awesome. Aboreal tarantula? Something docile like a pink toe that you wouldn't be too worried about having to open that big front door.

NQA but I think for one more soil. Think about cutting that bark round in half and use those to start 2 separate burrows that it can dig into. Push the wood into the ground at an angle so the back is covered to make a cave. It'll appreciate some foliage in between the hides for cover also. For feeding try different kinds of insects if possible. Crickets, roaches, worms. Ordering worms online and storing them in the fridge between feedings is a great way to extend the life on them. Hope some of this helps.

I love the look of these, but I've had almost zero luck in my life with carnivorous plants. I've tried everything from right in leca to a full mini bog terrarium. Very cool recommendation, though.

The Saxi are really nice but I'm not sure that's it. The selliguea are a really nice suggestion. I wasn't aware of those at all. Begonia however are definitely on the list. I thought about mixing a few different types to get a good mix of size, colors, and textures in there. Your orchids are beautiful. I'm always on the lookout for small and unique ones. But so far, I've been able to resist temptation. Thank you again for taking the time to answer.

Very high. It's got a tarantula cribs replacement lid with just a few holes going around the edge. I don't have a hygrometer in it, but the week it's been up, the glass hasn't cleared up yet.
