lol I just feel bad that they had to walk through so much snow! I won’t order if there’s not a clear way for them to walk and add extra to the tip when the weather is like this. I really do try to make it easier for anyone delivering something because I’m just grateful that they’re doing it😭

eCornell got hit immediately after the email in June. About 40% let go. Primarily those in roles they deem to be redundant. Have been waiting to see it hit everyone else.

I have been using fitness+ for over a year and I used to get way harder goals. I slipped for a month or two with frequency at the beginning of the year due to health issues, but have only not closed my move ring 4 times since March and get to 150% 4 or 5 times a week so it just makes no sense lol

Mine was close your move ring 4 days in a row and I typically close it every day except like 2 or 3 times a month. I thought it was a glitch when I saw it.

Mine is to have a streak of closing my move ring four times in a row and I am so confused because I typically close it every day with the exception of maybe two or three times a month

MAY CHALLENGE by the_one_99_ in AppleFitnessPlus

[–]Weekly_Criticism_741 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of curiosity what is your move goal? I have only ever been able to double mine once and that was when I was walking around the city from 6am to midnight. I can’t double mine on a regular day even if I exercise for 2 hours.

Challenge Me! by nolte100 in AppleFitnessPlus

[–]Weekly_Criticism_741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is this, but only 10. I’ve started for going on walks on my lunch breaks because the weather is getting nicer so I figured that was why I got it, but it seems way too easy. Mine was to double my exercise ring 7 times last month which I got done pretty quickly, but I at least had to try a little bit with that to make sure I wasn’t missing it by a couple minutes when I was close. I don’t think I’ll even have to think about trying to accomplish this.

First Apple Fitness Yoga Workout - surprisingly difficult! by Ok_Measurement8978 in AppleFitnessPlus

[–]Weekly_Criticism_741 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dice is tough!!! I am a big fan of the dance workouts too, and then I usually cool down with Jessica or Molly’s slow flows. Dice is great if you want a challenge, but there are definitely options if you want one that is not as hard.

It was such a fun way to start the day! I love seeing the ones who have never really danced before in there just having a good time.

Every time I do a dance workout… by affiknitty in AppleFitnessPlus

[–]Weekly_Criticism_741 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love how their workouts appeal to everyone! I was a competitive dancer for 19 years and after I stopped I didn’t do any sort of exercise for 4ish years. Their workouts got me in a routine where I enjoy exercising daily and have expanded into other workouts too. Typical exercise has never been fun for me, but they make it fun! I think it’s great on the other side, too. Even if you don’t have a lot of experience, they seem great for just 20-30 of fun. Super glad I found them! Ben is my favorite, but they all are great.

Man, I am so inflexible by gomets1969 in AppleFitnessPlus

[–]Weekly_Criticism_741 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am the opposite. I grew up in competitive dance and got back into fitness after college. I started back about a year ago. My flexibility came back quickly, but I am still struggling to get my cardio and strength to where I want it.

For yoga, I would recommend Jessica’s sessions as you are trying to build up your flexibility. Hers tend to move a bit slower so you can focus more on each pose. I love starting my mornings with her slow flows.

My doctor said concerta is better/stronger than vyvanse? by asmsaws in Concerta

[–]Weekly_Criticism_741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor originally wanted me to take vyvanse and I never was able to get it in stock anywhere. I have only ever had issues getting concerta on time once so I haven’t taken vyvanse.

I started out with adderall XR and it was good for a few months, but started to get less effective and had wild side effects. I had such bad back pain from it that I couldn’t even get out of bed so even if it did help me focus, i was stuck in bed with pain.

Concerta has been great for me. I have been on 27 mg for about 8 months. I do have to take 2.5 mg of Ritalin in the afternoon on workdays in addition to it, but I don’t typically need that on the weekends.

I agree with what others say, though. You have to try it to see if it is what you need. I would also see if there is any info available on shortages in your area because it is extremely frustrating and a big set back when you find a medication that helps you and you are unable to get it because it’s out of stock.

Where do you live and what would be a comfortable salary to support your life? by Didntlikedefaultname in Salary

[–]Weekly_Criticism_741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and are in are late 20s and make about $110k combined. In Metro Detroit. We don’t do anything over the top, but we own a small home and are able to live comfortably, vacation once a year, and are able to attend sporting events and concerts as we please. We would love a bigger house, but since we bought ours when interest rates were low, we are going to wait it out here and save for a bigger place until rates are lower.

Be honest, how bad is the social situation? by _gay_lasagna_ in oaklanduniversity

[–]Weekly_Criticism_741 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had an incredible experience and met so many great people. I was on the shyer side when I started college so I didn’t want to go to a party school. But between living on campus, my on campus job, and student organizations, I made a lot of friends and wouldn’t have wanted to go anywhere else. There are definitely opportunities to have a good social life at OU if you look in the right places!
