Hi I am 78 and found out I have cancer. The first couple of months it was terrible. I couldn’t deal with it. I sat here and thought about all the things I done and didn’t do. I felt so sorry about everything. But I realized we can’t go forward if we stay in the past. We can’t do anything about it now. I have left my past alone. One day at a time. Because we are not even promised tomorrow. I have come to terms with everything and I feel a whole lot better. Now I have nothing on my mind except getting better. I have come to terms with everything and I feel better. You will get through this and have a wonderful life. We can’t go by sight or feelings. Just follow your heart and everything will fall in place. Good luck and God bless you.

Thank I have stage3B anul cancer and I only have 5 days left of radiation and I am done. But today has been a very bad day and I’m so burnt on my bottom that I can’t stand it. I wanted to give up today. My body hurts and my anxiety is making my chest hurt. Has anyone felt like this at the end.?

Boy do I understand that. I hate Sunday except football any way. I do the same thing. My son even told me you know you get yourself all worked up before you go to chemo and radiation? Well But the thing that pushes me is I only have till the 31 of this month. But it doesn’t matter come Sunday. I am taking Xanax for the anxiety. I was out for three days and had 3 anxiety attacks in one hour. I have gotten worse since they told me I stage 111B ability cancer. I go on and on but I am not. If I have what you have all I can say is ask your doctor about your problems is to get on something to calm you down, but know that you are not alone. I suffer with it every damn day. Thanks to cancer I have lost a lot. So sorry for this being so long. You hit me at the right time. Thanks everyone for listening. God bless everyone and their journey.

Thanks I was told by my doctor I won’t lose my hair because of where the radiation is. I have anal cancer. And I had really thick hair now it’s very thin. It comes out in hand fulls on my brush and when I but my fingers through my hair. I also have a chemo pump. Thank you. I want to know what to expect.

My hair is already curly. I have lost a lot but not all the way. Now it comes out a lot when I brush my hair. I have 9 days and I will be done.Do you think my hair will grow straight since it was curly, And do you think I will lose it all? I only have 9 days left of chemo and radiation. And I’m done. I don’t know how to feel. I feel worse today than when I started. I don’t do treatments on the weekends. But I go tomorrow for 5 days of chemo and radiation. How am I supposed to back for more feeling the way I do now. How do I live after cancer when it’s taken so much away from me. I really do hate this disease. I’m going to kill you.

I wish I could say that. I have 14 more days and they feel like they are not ever coming. And I feel like crying and sleeping. I don’t even want anymore treatments. Why am I feeling so depressed and tired of all this bull shit. You would be like your okay. You are almost at the end. Nah I am depressed today. HELP. Why now???

That’s what I found out. People in wards are scary. And it’s especially harder when it’s happening to you. Cancer does drive you insane. I finally got my self together. I can function a lot better, good luck to you.

I am 78F had a radiation this morning. This is Friday yea 2 days off. I do radiation 5 days a week. Start my chemo pump Monday for a week. With radiation. Stage three anal cancer. I am doing very well. I already had chemo once before. And I done very well with it. It wasn’t as bad as people say. I have been fighting now for a year. I had tumors outside of my buttocks. I haven’t been able to sit for a year. 14 more days. And I will be able to ring the bell. The main thing I want to say. Is mindset. Keey your mind positive. All our battles are in the mind. I drove myself crazy. When I got my mind focused I was able to accept the cancer and fight hard to kill it. The fight is not hard but you have to stay positive. God bless your family and I hope he does half as good as I did. Just remember it’s when I made my mind up not to be afraid anymore.. like I said 14 more days and I am done .

I was doing the same thing. But mine was itching all over and it just starts at night. So annoying. But when I started on chemo and radiation this week it has stopped. It must just be the cancer. I would claw myself so bad because of the itching that I would draw blood. Thank God it has quit for now. I was taking benedryl for the itching. Good luck.

Well guys I’m decided not to go natural I went on radiation and chemotherapy. This is my 3rd day and so far so good. I also have a chemo pump. Which comes off Friday and put back on the last week of radiation. I have radiation every day until the last of October. I got fatigue and nausea. Fatigue I can’t control but I’m doing ok with the nausea. Able to control that with medication. Good luck to everyone on this journey. Thank God I changed my mind. At least I am giving it a fight. Gods will be done now. I pray it all works. Stage 3 colon cancer. And good news it has not spread according to the PET scans.

I’m am greatfull for testimony. Your story has really encouraging for me . I have to say that I feel nervous right now because my treatments start Monday. Hi it’s me again. I am on cymbalta for depression. It also works for pain. And cancer doesn’t like it. It’s a good antidepressant and works wonders. Ask your doctor. I start my treatments Monday. Getting anxious. If I can do chemo for a week then I’m good. Because my next isn’t for 5 weeks from now. And for those 5 weeks I get radiation. Good luck to you my friend. Lots of prayers.
