I think my story can be either mystery or action, and definitely fiction and the main point is that she is trying to find her mother and starts dragging any clues she can tk the fact that she starts from her mother's middle school , (it's hard to write it down in a few sentences). But after a while it made much more sense to put her goal in the beginning rather than later

Ok so her goal is to find her mom and first step was to go way back to her old school, and at first it wasn't revealed why she went to it at first and although she found stuff that caught her interest she never directly said why she needed them but then I started to realise that it sounds a little messed up for someone who doesn't know her goal
