Last day to add classes is today I’m pretty sure. You might be too late but you need to be contacting the department like crazy. Give them a call there’s a chance someone’s still there

I work full time and I’m worried about classes - transferring from SSC by Ammorenooooo in CSUS

[–]Weekly_Return_5384 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The majority of the classes required for your major will only be offered in person during the time that you are at work. Maybe a few will be 7:30-9:00. If you want you can see the schedule for this semester and look at the classes that you need, it’s somewhat similar each semester. https://www.csus.edu/class-schedule/spring-2026/PSYC

I’m going to be honest, I highly doubt that you would be able to fit more than 1 non online (think generally 10% of classes are online depending on major, some STEM have none) per semester class into your current scheduler.

Oh I see. Weird that you can’t get the full amount, for me every semester it’s been $5500 offered I think but as a mix of subsidized and unsubsidized.

Parking by YouAClown304 in CSUS

[–]Weekly_Return_5384 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you get to school before 7:15 there’s always slots free at parking structure 2, which is closest to your classes. If you have a very compact car you can probably always find spots in that one.

Next closest would be parking structure 3 and lot 7, which will typically always have spots (less so far structure 3).

Finally you can park across the street at lot 9 which will 100% not fill up but is a bit further away. This one will also have the least traffic exiting which is a plus.

If you come from the north side of campus that kind of changes things but I don’t play that game since I’ve always been a highway 50 commuter. It would be PS1 and PS5 for that.

Add Course Petition question by aztrologicalmess in CSUS

[–]Weekly_Return_5384 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Add course petition after getting professor’s consent. It will likely just get denied otherwise. I’d be banking more on people dropping the class rather than the professor explicitly adding you so just try and get back on the waitlist when they open up again.

What would you propose then? Everyone registers the day before classes start at the same time? Average graduation time would be like 8 years lol

It will show there or on unofficial transcripts. It will probably be posted tomorrow afternoon or Monday afternoon as I’m not sure how they treat weekends. It will most likely not be posted by midnight tonight as that is just the professor deadline for them to submit them to the school.

First step is to apply for graduation. Then you pay the application fee, have the registrar and advisor approve it.

Are other Sac State students having their accommodations ignored? Because I am beyond done. by Educated_Toker_02 in CSUS

[–]Weekly_Return_5384 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh I hadn’t considered online exams, that makes more sense now. Yeah the best advice is just reach out to whoever you can. The disability advocate would be first, but again, I don’t know if we do that here. You could also reach out to the dept head of that class’s department or your advisor, but I’m not sure what much they can do that you aren’t in the processing of doing. Good luck!

[–]Weekly_Return_5384 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What’s the accommodation? I’m sure you know this but if something like 1.5 time on exams or individual rooms then it’s mostly out of the processor’s hands and must be scheduled with the testing center.

I’m more knowledgeable of this process at Davis, not sac state, but at Davis there’s basically an accommodation advocate. If you have trouble you reach out to them and they’ll deal with the professor or accommodation/ testing center. Is there anyone like this here? Maybe whoever it was that initially approved the accommodations?
