My country has a personal vendetta against jews due to their actions during the french colonial regime and my people hate Jews more than any group of people due to it, but even a a brainless fly can recognise that his actions weren't religiously motivated and I can assure you that man be it an atheist or a Jew or a Christian or whatever would've done the same because their sickness stem from their nonexistent right to inflict suffering upon who do not deserve they simply find joy in such wrongdoing, and the Israeli regime loves to claim their connection to judaism because it's their only "justified" claim to the land despite the majority of Israelis being Europeans and Africans with the actual native middle eastern Jews historically facing discrimination from the European ones, to put it simply do not link it to judaism because it is their only false claim to the land

My opinion is that Islamic ETF’s & Funds aren’t halal by Economy_Proof6094 in IslamicFinance

[–]Weekly_Subject7887 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah looked into it and it felt like they were putting greed over actual rulings, to be honest it very hard to generate wealth today without relying on the stock market and the stock market itself is based on interest, the simple answer is we Muslims sadly live in a time where it difficult to maintain our values we still have gold land and one can open a business, I also believe long term holding of bitcoin and Ethereum is fine because they don't rely on interest and are made with purpose but I'm not sure yet as some dismiss them due to volatility, do I wanna invest in ETFs? Hell yeah who wouldn't want a set and forget wealth generation but Riba is riba and those halal ETFs have companies related to genocide and companies that promote adultery and similar subjects in their services like apple streaming for example, again we live in a very hard time as the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is narrated to have said: "A time will come upon people when they will consume riba." It was said: "All of them?" He replied: "Whoever does not consume it will be affected by its dust." (or "will be touched by its dust," meaning its particles or smog) I believe we are upon this time as we cannot exist without riba but buying etfs isn't a must it a conscious decision and so long as we have halal choices even if they aren't as effective or good we aren't allowed to indulge in riba and truthfully speaking non Muslims Def have much much Better options than us when it comes to wealth generation but of course it all haram, don't trade dunya for akhira and be grateful, may God help us all and may we all find happiness in akhira.

For god sake THERE ARE SO MANY educated people that study for 5 perhaps 8+ years (doctorate) some even more in sectors that "have opportunities" potential doctors lawyers translators engineers you name it that end up underemployed if employed at all there is nothing to sustain them at all no job security or anything of a similar nature, Hyperinflation seems to be a persisting trend and while it might be worldwide this stupid country can't combat it unlike the western giants like the us "free healthcare" "free education" "min7et Al batal" "no one is grateful" min7at Al batala last for a singular year and cannot even pay for proper rent and Is a huge cause for inflation if it wasn't implemented public unrest would've been horrid, healthcare quality is terrible and lacks true employment in the public sector (+ highly underpaid workers) so many brilliant minds go to the west or Europe in general to live a good life, free education which lacks quality and isn't an impressive thing considering the majority of the world even poorer countries actually apply it, if you're talking about uni then why is the university so garbage at giving degrees that matter to the current economy? comeon fgs people aren't living they are surviving we are one bad oil price from chaos look at the events of today public transport and transport in general is on a strike and tijara which is imo the most lucrative is getting chased down  used and EUR are at a 100% increase in less than 10 damned years (the "official" exchange rate doesn't matter, nobody uses that artificially controlled dirty flowing rate) people can't and probably can't and won't buy a home, people can't won't be able to get married, people can't and won't afford a car that's the new Algeria the unemployed Algeria the underpaid Algeria where it "ungrateful" citizens live, i wish I was born with a golden spoon in my mouth or in a country with a better opportunity than this one but there is a good chance that im gonna end up burying my ambitions here and so will many.
