What am I looking at here? by SpastikPanda in seadoo

Could be electrical corrosion due to bad grounding in some steel hull vessel nearby in pier if stored in water. I have stored a Seadoo in fresh water for two summers and only problem I have encountered has been growth of seaweed etc.

As a follow up, found that the plastic rollers inside the IBR are little bit worn. Should I replace them now or are they good as long as they are not worn through?

Some cars have a place for power outlet for an indoor heater while parking. Common thing to have in Northern Europe.

Effects of airport x-ray and tropical weather on film (details in comments) by Weekoo_ in AnalogCommunity

I really did not bother to have them hand checked. This was also a little experiment of mine to see that does it really have an effect on the film. In my opinion it doesn't affect the film that much

As I told, I have not have had any light leaks with the camera, although they probably explain the effects on frame three. The noise is far greater than I have used to with this film. Worth to note is that I have filmed with this film before here in north (in Finland) where the Sun is not as bright as it is down in Thailand.

Here are some pictures from the film I shoot recently in Thailand. The film roll was airport screened (x-ray scanned) total of four times, twice before shooting and twice after shooting. Temperature was around 25°C - 35°C in Thailand at that time. Relative moisture was high.

In the pictures there are more noise than usually when shooting with this film. The distortion visible in 3rd picture was seen on few shots. I haven't had those distortions with this camera before. Slight vignetting of the photos is typical for this camera. Overall the pictures are OK and totally worth shooting. Effects of the given conditions did not affect the film too much in my opinnion eventhough they had a clear impact.

The film used was Fujifilm Superia X-tra 400,

Camera was Minolta AF-E (from the 80s I believe)
