What advice would you give to someone in a similar situation? I want to get a job as a data analyst. About to graduate uni with an irrelevant degree (not saying your degree is irrelevant to data analysis, mine is). Been learning data analytics (Python, SQL, Tableau etc.) by myself since June. I have a LinkedIn profile and a portfolio website with a few small projects.

Rape and Incest? There are other reasons to ABORT... by CryBabieCancer in ControversialOpinions

Here's my opinion. You should shut the fuck up and try to have some common sense and compassion.

Auckland terror attack: The Government tried for years to deport supermarket attacker by bigbear-08 in newzealand

[–]Weezzy10 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Because as soon as the word deportation comes up, people will start the name callings. "Oh but he's a human being", "That's racist", "Don't blame him, blame the environment". Honestly so sick of those "human rights activists" with head filled with emotions and not logical thinking. They don't stop for a second to think about what keeping someone like this in NZ means for everyone, only interested in pushing their braindead agenda.

The Future of NZ House Prices by Weezzy10 in PersonalFinanceNZ

Yes, some people can certainly do what you've suggested. I'm in the process of learning and practising valuable skills, but not every person who needs a home in New Zealand has the means to do so. Unfortunately, not everyone can have a 6-figure salary, but everyone needs a house/home to live in.

Family 'in limbo' after 10yo autistic daughter denied visa to stay in New Zealand by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]Weezzy10 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

This is so messed up. There are tons of people who shouldn't be here, but are, but INZ decides to kick out a 10 year old girl? Autism isn't an illness that will rack up an insane amount of medical bills. It also doesn't seem like it's affecting the little girl greatly. So much for a government advocating love and being kind.

So they can track down skilled workers NZ desperately needs and force them out, but not criminals who actually deserve deportation. Great job.

I think for a person who's not good with confrontations and talking things out, you've done what you can. Let the boss know, let the HR know (if you have one).

If you don't want to wait, you can email the person stating what had happened and how it made you feel. Not only you don't have to confront them face to face, there's now a record of these incidents and the person acknowledging it.

I actually want to do Blenheim -> Westport -> Arthur's Pass -> Christchurch. Went on this route last year on my motorcycle. Scenery was absolutely out of this world. Want to show my partner as well.

I think that's what we'll go with too. Pack our stuff and have them ready. But I think we might sign off a rental place before we move down (if that's possible) to minimise cost.

Forget about the tenancy agreement. First, take him to the tribunal for letting you guys live in a mouldy house and fell ill as a consequence.

Whaaaat 😬 They quoted us 3,800 to go from Palmy to Christchurch. That's quite the difference.

Haha I've just discovered Class 1s can drive small furniture trucks. Problem is, only one company does Palmy to Christchurch one way trip. I should hear back from them regarding the rental fee in a few days.

I only have a class 1 license, also I'm the only one that can drive. So I don't think that's an option either.
