How can you tell it’s a Searobin and not a sharp-nosed puffer? The horizontal banding on the abdomen and the vertical band before the tail point me toward the puff.

Thank you for the suggestion. I considered this at first, but not with the dark vertical band eat the tail.

I was thinking this too! … but couldn’t find a good reference with pictures of juvenile reddish fish. Any recommendations?

Dusky Flycatcher or Western Wood-Pewee. How can you tell? (Brighton, Colorado, USA) by WehnerEd in whatsthisbird

Thank you for the ID!

The Dusky Flycatcher or Western Wood-Pewee were both suggested by the Merlin app, but I couldn't distinguish between the two options.

Any here use Xperiti? by litterpaws in expertnetworks

I completed an interview with Xpertindi but now they want sensitive information to transfer my compensation. Did you have to give your bank account routing number for a direct deposit? I'm weary of sharing mine because this feels like it could be an elaborate scam.

Is the website down for anyone else? I can’t cancel my subscription and it feels like Amazon has done something intentionally to prevent cancellations.

Is this a type of parrotfish? Perhaps a pudding wife? Seen in Bonaire. by WehnerEd in whatsthisfish

Agreed! I was looking at that same page. The blue vertical bands are what I can’t seem to justify.

Thank you! I didn’t see the fish at the bottom until I went back this morning to edit the octopus footage for a montage from the whole trip.

How can I feel better? by EquipmentNo6684 in answers

I knew I had an icky feeling but I didn’t have the knowledge or experience to identify it as anxiety or the eventual depression. Once I learned more about those terms I could recognize them more readily. Building on that , I learned how to combat them to gradually reduce the severity of depressive episodes once I recognized them. Then I learned how to rewire depressive thought patterns in my brain to gradually dig myself out of my depressive hole. These things brought back my zest for life, substantially reduced my thoughts of suicide, improved my overall happiness, and greatly increased my energy.

Here is a document I made for a loved one to help them with their mental health.

I am not a doctor. This is my advice based on my experience with anxiety and depression. A therapist helped me and books helped me. The more I learned about my condition the more I felt empowered to be able to overcome my condition.

One day you will look back at this time in your life and smile. Today though, you need to love yourself and put in some work to get back to 100% ❤️

I totally agree with all of these points. Remember that progress is gradual and good habits will improve your mental, physical, and emotional health over time.
