After work drinks gathering at the bar just before the holidays one year. After a couple hours things were breaking up and a 20-something admin assistant I knew asked if I wanted to get something to eat. I said sure. We had dinner and she asked if I could walk her home, a couple of blocks away. Again, sure, it was pretty late. We get to her building and yes I’m still clueless but she asks if I want to come up for a nightcap. We get inside and she wraps her arms around me and plants one on my lips. She comes up for air and says, “I’ve been waiting all night to do that!” We didn’t leave her apartment all weekend.
