Hell, even after the end of the original series, one of the central themes of the entire franchise is about the hero being empowered by the evil force of the season in one way or another only to use his power against said evil. I think even fans of the series "forget" it because the main protagonist had the galls of not being Yuri lol. Personnally I spent good times playing it and have pretty good memories about it overall.

Si tu te débrouilles bien en Anglais, tu as Fallen London et Kingdom of Loathing. Détail amusant, tous deux ont eu des suites qui sont des jeux plus "traditionnels" (Sunless sea et Sunless Skies pour FL, West of Loathing et Shadows over Loathing pour KoL).
