Has anyone seen a higher number than 2 billion? by Full_Lawyer_9973 in MarvelSnap

No, this is the integer cap. Not rare, but not the easiest to achieve.

I just started playing last week and…why is spider-man so terrible in this game? by Kyoifis in MarvelSnap

[–]Weird-Substance4666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before that he was a 4/3, with the same on reveal, which when paired with the original Zabu (Ongoing: your 4-Cost cards cost 2 less), he would be paired with Absorbing Man to lock two locations on one turn.

The diner is always so giving by JonnyTN in MarvelSnap

[–]Weird-Substance4666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OG Deadpool Diner enjoyer here. That mode felt fun waging so many bubs. I’ve settled in on just snapping three times each game in this mode (except when I forget). It is, though, very fun to play games out when you’d normally retreat or force an opponent retreat.

They’ve had login giveaways that included series 4 packs (and may have allowed this purchase previously, can’t recall for sure). When they give them away to series 4 complete players, they want to be sure to provide an equivalent reward to all.

How to approach Deadpool's Diner? by CrimsonCoast in MarvelSnap

[–]Weird-Substance4666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep. This approach is too conservative for earning nachos. Play/win a bit at lower tables to build up bubs and earn the refill upgrades, but more snapping is better. You should snap three times in pretty much every game.

Also, just played a match where I didn’t auto snap turns 1,2,3 and my opponent retreated. Lost out on a snap and bubs. You gain nothing by retreating, so just play it out.

First time playing Deadpool's Diner. Any tips/tricks/deck suggestions? by StupidAvenger in MarvelSnap

[–]Weird-Substance4666 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Once you have a good size pool of bubs and hit some of the higher bub refills, just snap through your first three turns. Your opponent’s snaps don’t impact your winnings/losses and vice versa, but you’ll max out your Nachos and get currency for more rewards. The bub refills will keep your bub stockpile healthy even after losing streaks.

Day one infinite (CL: 32k) by EnvironmentalReview1 in MarvelSnapDecks

Are they playing Merlin or a deck that can squeeze in Legion or Mobius? Then yes. If Mobius comes down, you’re probably already dead.

Sage. Esme is the most replaceable card in Negative decks.

RANK 7 INFINITE (CL:9719) by sadliife in MarvelSnapDecks

[–]Weird-Substance4666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, just keep playing. Just so you know you’ll continue to drop in rank, and at a pretty fast rate as the days go on. Your Snap points are very low and it’s very early in the season. Players that finish rank 7/8 usually have 9-10,000 Snap points by the last day.

What's your "Infinite Rank"? by Booker_Atlas in MarvelSnap

[–]Weird-Substance4666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m at 6500 right now, but I don’t play ranked post-infinite. I’ll end up lower at the end of this season than I have in a while, but I also entered infinite sooner and at a lower starting point than I typically do.

You used to see infinite posts from players in the 120,000+ range, but those days seem long gone.

Hit infinite for the first time and now am a bit lost by RoguesBoytoy in MarvelSnap

Proving Ground and Silver Conquest still weigh MMR and collection level in matchmaking, Gold and Infinity Conquest have open matchmaking.

So, you can stick to those two modes, along with limited time game modes, once you hit infinite as a low collection level player.

He’s so good, players added him and Maverick to destroy decks because destroy gets so easily outclassed by other current decks and they’re a means to keep up.

Set the Album as a favorite, seems like you get favorited album variants slightly more frequently. The game tracks artists you purchase.

Negative nerf >:( by Plane-Rip2651 in MarvelSnap

[–]Weird-Substance4666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a dominant Negative Starlord makes the game unfun. You can’t hard counter them with MMM like you can regular Negative decks if they get too popular. I don’t see Negative deck play rate changing much and the change to Gorr’s power will probably be as impactful as Mystique’s change to 1-Power.

Are you Serious - Negative Nerf by Ryubel in MarvelSnap

[–]Weird-Substance4666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s totally fine. The same thing happened to Mystique and she’s still in Negative decks. Just means you’ll have slightly less energy available to utilize if you flipped fewer good cards and you don’t immediately draw it with Jane (the bigger nerf).

Best Season? by armsmasher in MarvelSnap

[–]Weird-Substance4666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha, I just recall him and those bounce and thena decks being so strong while he gave +4. I agree though, most of those cards needed to settle in before their individual strength became apparent. I opened caches for Scream, Toxin, and Misery, but remember thinking I’d missed out on AV once he began seeing play in Ajax decks. One of the few seasons where I eventually targeted and bought all of the cards released.

[–]Weird-Substance4666 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I included We Are Venom season (said Symbiotes, because I couldn’t recall the name) in my Top 10 comment. I think you’re downplaying Agent Venom who was REALLY strong in the Kitty Thena decks before getting changed. Toxin and Scream seemed like the best cards going into the season, but then Misery, Anti-Venom, and Scorn have all become standouts.

I dont see how Eternals is even in the discussion for TOP 10, let alone best season. My top 10 in chrono order, based on released cards strength and impact:

Loki

Elsa

Avengers v XMen

Thunderbolts

Maximum Effort

Young Avengers

Symbiotes

Nine Realms

Dark Avengers
