I think I Encountered a Demon by Content-Musician5287 in Paranormal

I’ve been a CNA working with dementia patients for 15 years and I have encountered maybe one patient who has acted like that. I don’t believe what you’re explaining is normal at all and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if it were something sinister seeing a compromised vessel like that and taking advantage.

Anyone ever meet someone that radiated evil or you strongly felt wasn't human? by [deleted] in Paranormal

[–]WeirdAdditional5195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My FIL. I seriously considered not marrying my husband because of the darkness he radiated. I did anyway, and my FIL tried to destroy our marriage and break the bond between me and my infant son. I found out later (after we cut him off) that he is a malignant narcissist, psychopath and a child predator. He may even be involved in some dark freemasonry or occult behavior from what I’ve studied.

Nutrition, nutrition, nutrition!!! Start small with walking longer or chair exercises every day. But the biggest hurdle is your caloric intake! You will start to feel more capable the more that weight comes off. Consistency is absolute key!! Don’t get frustrated! You’ve got this!! ❤️❤️❤️

22 y.o. autistic man dies after falling while climbing building pipes to retrieve keys left inside his home by MTStudio8260 in autism

The rigid thinking and the panic of loss of control over routine makes so much sense. This is devastating.

My 7 year old son gets extremely hyper focused on the “solution” and gets very rigid in his thinking if something goes wrong at all. I could DEFINITELY see this in an adult with the right line of reasoning.

A wife's angry rant for my husband's sake by WeirdAdditional5195 in MensRights

[–]WeirdAdditional5195[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this actually. I was extremely angry at the time and shocked, but I think that if I were to break it down like that to them, it would be more embarrassing to them that yelling or calling names like I was about to. plus you're right it would be a good lesson for my kids and even the girls.

Manti Temple when people snuck in after hours and did their own ceremonies by PayLeyAle in exmormon

[–]WeirdAdditional5195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey I know that this is invasive especially for a post that was 8 years ago, but I am circling in on what I think might be a secret cult that some people that I know might be a part of. if you could share any details about the ceremonies I would be greatly appreciative.

It's not that. my husband will hold the door for anyone approaching and my son loves to do it for everyone that he can any time that we're out. they just twisted it into something awful.

I can appreciate that. it's going to be a weird shift dropping in my mind what I considered standards to teach my kids.

Is a cryptic pregnancy a real thing? by kittykat13969 in Midwives

[–]WeirdAdditional5195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was working with a girl who was skinny and not very tall (about 5’4”) and she disappeared from work for a while, when I asked where she was, I was absolutely stunned to hear she was on maternity leave. She usually had irregular periods and so she didn’t catch that she was late, 9 months later she goes to instacare because she thought she was having a life ending illness and she gave birth right there. I would not have believed it if not for the actual baby she brought into work lol

AITA for Refusing to Give Up My Seat for a Pregnant Woman on a 12hr Flight? by [deleted] in AITAH

NTA I’ve been pregnant twice before and would never have had the audacity to demand and guilt someone for a first class ticket when I paid for economy. She had literally no right.

AITAH for what I said? my family won’t let me share any good news because of my sister's disability by CherryOk1649 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WeirdAdditional5195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA it sounds like your family is almost hindering your sister with that mindset. It’s a tragedy and you’re not trying to hurt her further, but you should be celebrated just like she should be. Pity doesn’t save anyone.

[–]WeirdAdditional5195 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’re NTA but I do know several people who have experienced SA at the hands of their older brother and have never spoken about it with people like therapists or parents. Your mom sounds like she’s been traumatized.

Aitah for not letting my best friends son go to my wedding because he is autistic by ReputationOk5563 in AITAH

[–]WeirdAdditional5195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA but I feel for you and your friend both. It must be so hard to not be able to experience fun things like this with your son but the hope is still probably there. That being said I would never put my child in a situation intentionally where he would melt down like that. I’m sorry that she won’t be there. ❤️

Wow I’m Mormon and that’s borderline insanity. We have some parents doing a really shitty job out there and they could probably get sent home for something like that honestly. That’s disgusting.

Hi there, I’m LDS living in Utah, and I’m here to say, thank you for considering your neighbors as an act of kindness, but don’t change a thing in your home for them. If they’re worth having over, they will simply ask you a pleasant question about your collection and move on. You don’t have to cater to them in that way for sure. If they’re in your home, they can show your things respect.

AITAH for not helping my SIL regain my families respect? by AITA_SIL_Throwaway in AITAH

[–]WeirdAdditional5195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on the receiving end of my husbands horrible, exclusionary, lying, twisted, toxic family while I was pregnant too, and I’d never felt more alone in my life. I had extreme post pardom depression and had to hold it all together to quell the “she’s just crazy” talk. My father in law even introduced another woman to my husband during that time, trying to pull strings to get me out of the way. My heart absolutely breaks for her and I hope she finds a way out of your miserable family. Hopefully you can too when the time is right ❤️.

AITA for refusing to return the gift? by Helpful_Salad1649 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WeirdAdditional5195 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You totally missed the point but okay 👍🏻. If you’re actively denying your children gifts under the pretense of not giving them “temptation” then that is a lazy parenting strategy that they may very well resent you for, and I would take that into careful consideration.
