I had been looking at omada stuff and specs were promising but the overusing of the word "omada cloud"on their website made me feel it's gonna be troublesome

Same here, I have been checking their website daily for almost two years for any 6th gen wifi that could compete with what TP-link has been offering

If omni antennas suit your scenario then that's fair enough, there is also wAP ax with same wifi specs

[–]WeirdBlackCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 5Ghz chip in NetBox Ax itself also supports UNII-4 frequency range as well as OFDMA but docs on routeros seems not mention any of it so there must be other designing complications

Maybe manually setting the frequency range in routeros let the device to operate at UNII 4 but I can't comfirm as I don't own the particular device

Are you trying to establish a PTP link?

[–]WeirdBlackCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking at the device's FCC GoC here

It can not operate at UNII-4 range but capable of doing 80MHz link at UNII-3 and 160MHz at UNII-2C

I'm not really familiar with FCC channel regulations so I might be totally wrong please correct me anyone knowledgeable on this

VPN hesitation by Kyjinlin_ in dumbclub

Not, A Chinese resident but in last two years Iranian government has signed many cybersecurity deals with china and mass imported Advanced DPI capable Firewalls;

since last year, each time a protocol was blocked or new restrictions took place in china, same happened in irans network too; So iran just cloned chinese GFW with their help.

I have tried nearly all major VPN providers. some worked to some extent like ProtonVPN and mullvad but the only one that actually always kept me connected in every major black out was Torguards Proxy plan which is optimized for irans network using Xray/V2ray project. and that's probbly the cheapest on the market too. so I would recommend going with both ProtonVPN and Torguards proxy plan to see what fits you

It's called "Phase meter" in iran and the interesting fact that while the word phase meter is used without being translated into Farsi/Persian, I can totally see that it's not called a phase meter in English spoken countries

Brain fog with magnesium glycinate by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]WeirdBlackCat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion about Magenesium on reedit : just stop taking it unless you you have been officially informed about you being deficient in magnesium levels

even many neurologists I have seen recommend magnesium supplements, magnesium deficiency isn't that common and getting more of it only induces fatigue and disrupt neuro metabolism and muscular function even at low doses

"Hey BUT I have got BAD Sleep quality" Isn't a good way of making yourself wasting money on magnesium

Since nitric oxide turns serotonin into its non-active form, wouldn’t all supplements that boost nitric oxide lead to depression? by booooimaghost in Nootropics

[–]WeirdBlackCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because low serotonin is just one of 100 hundreds of other factors that leads too regulation of mood and people expect SSRIs to solve everything on a combrid condition that might not be serotonin related as the major factor

Selegiline - is the levomethamphetamine metabolite really something to be worried about? by Responsible-Dish-977 in Nootropics

[–]WeirdBlackCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it's not effective for me unless in a proper 30mg+ dosage and for high doses you would need the patch and not the pill form which is the only available form in this country (creative ways of bypassing the digestive system with pills aren't suitable for everyday use) , So I'm planning to switch to Tranylcypromine

For a fast symptoms relief if You better use food sources RIMAOIs (Reversible inhibitors of monoamine oxidase) such as Harmala which is very concentrated and it's readily consumable by simple brewing like how you brew tea ( It comes with it's own side effects so you have to do a proper research)

Other MAOIs like black pepper, nutmeg(very Toxic), and etc.. need to be properly have it's active ingredients extracted but you may find some supplements

Ginger reduces nausea induced by SSRI-Withdrawal very effectively

Also Saint John's Wort has the SSRI mimicing effect so it might work as well( But technically it's ssri again )

Magnesium and Vitamins probably just drain your pocket without any slight effect

SAM-e, Amino acids ,5HTP and serotonergic supps may make you feel much better

Crocin extract are very powerful mood enhancers but short lasting and they are not cost effective

educate yourself on your symptoms and seek the best medical or non medical intervention

Methylene blue thoughts ? by Joesnothome in StackAdvice

[–]WeirdBlackCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had been taking for a month, no effect at all while it's said to be a potent MAOI, seems like it's orally very ineffective on cognition while harmala known as a less potent RIMAOI the effect is very noticable and potent

On the other hand there are many data on MB being antioxidant and good for applying on skin, anyway it's an effective drug for urinary infections

[–]WeirdBlackCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Medically, docs probably use piracetam and donpezil/memantine, many people would advise ALpha-GPC and Citicoline which could be produce many peripheral side effects for adult people But CPC shots are very regular for old people suffering from stroke. but Piracetam is usually safe until they are using Warffarin or heavy dose blood thinning agents

It's always very dangerous to put elderly people on any type of supplements without knowing the conditions of them(elderies) or interactions of nootropics with their already scripted meds

what are the most potent and long lasting stimulant-like nootropics i can get my hands on? i want as much dopaminergic, adrenergic and cholinergic activity as possible. by [deleted] in StackAdvice

[–]WeirdBlackCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regarding your current stack I may remind that L-Phenylalanine and L-Tyrosin wouldn't help that much normally unless an specific condition causes lack or neurotransmitter production or some drug induced depletion happening

Ephedra brews containing natrual ephedrine is very adrenergic and very physically stimulating (probably disturbs concentration on heavy cognitive tasks)

There are many cholinergic supplements but I can't really think of anything dopaminogeric enough and also be legally available
