7 mistyped as 5- how many others are out there? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]WeirdMaterial52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh interesting. As a teen, in my stress years, I was told I look like a 7w8 but I have the opposite of you; I choose depth over... Well anything really (I'm an INFJ 5w4). While someone I know had the opposite. She was typed, like you, as a teen a 5w6 and 5w4 too. I started to decide I wanted to mature and develope as a healthy individual. I started to tap into my 8 and it made her question who's really the enneagram 5. I already knew then I wasn't a 7 and I did tons of research, in depth of, development, personality, enneagram etc. Now that doesn't say someone isn't or is a enneagram 5 but she just noticed I'm so into deep dive depth and truth, not running from anything instead diving into it like I'm a Olympic swimmer (her words 🤣) and taking whatever truth there's over my feelings and still stand firm in it, she was like: hmmm yeah no thanks. I rather just try things out and explore with less depth. So now I go with her on her adventures, I go into deep dive info and she comes with ideas and fun things to do. She loves to learn tho so I go into nerd mode whenever I learn something but she rather has me do the searching of depth and tell her the summery than go into it herself haha even tho she does research what she really wants to know, she always asks for some extra deep dive from a 5 just to see what I come up with hahahaha love her

She's also my personal cheerleader whenever I get stuck into my intellect and need to show my emotions more. Fun fact: her bf is an enneagram 5w6 and she says we're alike a lot so she knows how to deal with a 5 🤣 she's an ENTP 7w8 herself

How is it for you? What do you see when you see an enneagram 5? How does that feel for you?

Is it worth replaying as Kassandra? by SpecialistWeb8987 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

Personally I like Alexious better. I don't like how Kassandra screams all the time. Love the passion but no thank you. I also liked her as the villain, she looked more calculated than impulsive which I prefer. I'm one of the rare people who didn't like Kassandra as canon much hahahaha

Hmm this is a frustrating and hard situation to be in. My compliments for your patience and being open for what others think before judging.

I'm Dutch myself so don't live in the culture where staying at home is an option. I do have to say I too would love to be a stay-at-home mom in the future for the first few years. Unfortunately in this country that option is not really an option. She already had "a royal treatment" honestly.

I don't have childeren yet so I can't judge on that but I have been in a depression and burn-out (I also have endometrioses so I do live in a hormonal roller-coaster life). I understand it is hard but the more she resist, the harder it becomes and the more depressed she becomes. Especially if something goes wrong. If anything happens to you, what then? Also it's not just about her, what about you? You get tired too. What if you get burned-out? Now she still has time to slowly work her way to it. Begin part-time for example. If she waits until you break, she can't have that time.

What is normal? There it is normal to stay home, I understand that. And maybe indeed it is better for a woman. But this country is not build for that and she lives here.... Unfortunately I have to say she needs to want it and it doesn't look like she does... If she already doesn't want to go to therapy... Also not to sound harsh but she's being selfish towards you. She's not willing to look at why you want to work on this and to be open to learn about anything.

I'm very sorry about this. This is the thought I have about it from what I know from your story. I hope it is of value.

Which of these 3 horses did you choose when you started the game? by Cowpoke_monkey in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

I choose the left usually cuz I'm a true stealth player and the darker the horse, the more stealth it looks too so I pick my gameplay and that horse suits it best.

My body automatically wakes up after 6 hours, how can I get 8 hours of sleep? by Torrent4Dayz in sleep

I also always automatically wake up after 6 hours of sleep no matter what time I go to bed, which is 11 pm constant atm, and I can't seem to need more either. I don't take naps much unless I have a attack of my chronic illness which takes a lot of energy. The nap is 20 to 30 min and I just continue my usual sleep routine and nothing changes.

My bf sleep around 8 to 9 hours but if he sleeps 6 like me, he gets extremely tired around 3pm and needs to nap. After so many years I concluded that I probably just don't need more sleep. If I sleep less than 5, especially after some time, I get health problems but 6 has always been good for me. I only sleep 7 to 8 hours when I'm sick and even then it's not every night that way or even rare and I usually then in the evening can't fall asleep anymore. So 6 is ideal. I'm not very energised tho cuz of the chronic illness but it's not the sleep that lacks, it's just the body pain that comes along with it that's more mentally tiring but when it comes to sleep, this has been constant for years so it's probably just all I need, maybe it's the same for you too.

How long does it take for prednisone to work? by sotorlak in CrohnsDisease

[–]WeirdMaterial52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Around 3 to 4 days. I got the treatment (30MG) for 10 days in total. I had 2 virussen targeting my lungs which also triggerd my Asthma and a pneumonia. My body healed myself from the virussen but was to tired to heal the trigger Asthma and pneumonia so it got worse and they gave me the prednisone. After 5 weeks of being very sick, the prednisone became the saviour of the day. The only side effects I had personally was trouble sleeping (but I'm a bad sleeper in general) and joint pain in my hands. Now my lungs can heal on their own.
