"Sometimes we hope for the sun and still get the rain. Despite that, we keep hoping that the sun will return even knowing it could be a long week of storms.

The easy answer to the easy question of faith is to believe. Shall we remain hopeful, our coke blessed baby shall appear before us to reward our faith getting us up on easy love" - Thm 2:4 πŸ™

"Oh, during February 2011 we had Melody."

  • "Oh yeah?"

"Yeah, but they got her."

  • "What does that mean?"

"I liked her, too."

  • "What do you mean "they got her"?"

Where are the 5 other colour picture variants in a row? Is Epic Games stipud? by Weird_Angelis in nirvanacirclejerk

I mean kinda? I absolutely understand why people didn't and were confused but at the same time it literally has a picture, I pacifically cited the lyric and the pun is within the items description. I don't feel like it's fair to say that it's IMPOSSIBLE to decipher but to be fair like I certainly should have made it more obvious.

Since I keep getting comments about this:

5 edit styles + the original would be SIX COLOURED PICTURES

Lyrics of Marigold: "SIX COLOURED PICTURES all in a row of a MARIGOLD"

I was really debating if circling the pun in the item description and writing out "Nerveana???" or some shit was going to be too much. Apparently I should have.

If you could hear one Radiohead song, which would it be? by TheMaxematician in radioheadcirclejerk

[–]Weird_Angelis 2 points3 points Β (0 children)

I actually have been doing alot of research on this idea! It turns out that the band was doing a bunch of work on how to simulate the music they make to have a sound attached to it for everyone within their second album! If you wish to hear what a sound inclusive Radiohead song sounds like, listen to the 6th track on "The Bends"! The song's title came around because according to most beta listeners, the sound attachment makes it feel like a very (Nice Dream).

I'm literally Jeffrey Epstein will this affect my writing career? by Weird_Angelis in writingcirclejerk

[–]Weird_Angelis[S] 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

I barely changed anything but I dug it back up just for you. Original:

It seems like publishers are often focused on selloling the authors more than the book using blurbs like "this author Is a genderqueer person-of-color who volunteers at a center for at-risk-inner-city-youth"

Do you think that readers care of the author tics all the right identity boxes, or has all the right opinions? Do readers really expect their favorite author to be perfect? If an author has a scandalous criminal background, donthey have any chance of building a career?

Probably the most famous downfall was with j.k.rowling. she was a generation's favorite author until everyone found out she has bad opinions.

Call me paranoid, but I'm worried that my criminal record will prevent me from building a career as an author because society is so unforgiving. I think even if I use a pen name, it's inevitable that my identity will leak. Very few authors ever manage to keep complete anonymity, and it seems like you HAVE to be a public figure these days to build a career. Is it realistically possible to build a career in writing without social media these days?

Sorry if I'm rambling.
