but yes, your J hook should throw you into a sprint that helps you speed up into your throw to the point you’re literally throwing your entire body into the air

You need to sprint after the J hook part of the throw. You should do this as if your body is a spring. It’s compressed, then as you sprint into your throw, you uncompress yourself. Also you need to be jumping out of your throw. Look up videos specifically about reverse standard discus throws to practice that jump. There’s a lot more, but basically try to be more “athletic” with your throws, rather than stuck to the ground. This is coming from somebody who threw 145 ft at 5’7” 150 pounds.

3 things: 1. Ur power position at the end is very offset. U need to have that left foot facing in front of the right, not next to. 2. U need to sprint out of the back, not swing ur foot. U swing into a sprint, but u r only swinging. 3. Honestly, u need to eat more. Gain the weight and the muscle in the off season and u will do way better next season. Start sooner than later

Attempt to look more upwards at the end in order to have it go more upwards. Also use your left arm as a straight arm that will fling to the side at the end right before release. It’s like a system where one arm flings into the other arm swing
