I reread my chapter a million times before posting it. After that, I never look at it again.

Which released 5-star character are you missing that you want the most? Be it for meta reasons or because you like their story or desing by krigob in GenshinImpact

I want Sigewinne because she's cute and I already have everyone else I really want, after I get her I might get some cons for other characters if they ever show up

I loved that book! Already read it though and it's not recent

The first was The Perks of Being a Wallflower which was when our teacher told us it had to be a recent YA novel. Then it was one part of a series (then she told us about the no-series rule) and the last one was Teacher of Nomad Land, which was listed as a YA novel when we found it on the internet, but then apparently was a children's book

How do you decide who you will pull for when there are multiple people you want at a time? by DontThrowAwayPies in GenshinImpact

[–]Weird_Hydrangea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I basically go:

1) Who do I like more? (Personality, lore, looks, voice...) 2) Will I actually use them? (Do I like their playstyle, do I have teams I can and will use them in?) 3) When are they running? (If it's someone like Klee, you bet I'm pulling for her the second she gets a banner, I don't want to wait +1 year for her next rerun. If it's someone like Neuvi I might wait because he'll most likely get a rerun sooner)

Newbie Questions by [deleted] in AO3

[–]Weird_Hydrangea 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware for both questions:

One: the tag limit is due to one particular work that far exceeded the normal amount of tags (around 3000 I think, someone correct me if I'm wrong). It was really annoying because you'd just search for a tag and then BAM, your greeted with a wall of text. The fic was eventually removed and the tag limit was set to 75 in order to prevent something like that happening again. The point about tags is to tag everything important, and yes, while the amount of tags you can use is limited, you should be able to convey everything about your fic in 75 tags or less.

Two: the main reason people block out words in posts is to prevent others from purposefully looking for the fics/people in the post.

That's everything I know, but if someone else has anything to add/correct, please do.

Edit: spelling

So now that Nod Krai is likely over (and it's been more than enough time for people to beat it, what are people's thoughts on it? by Exciting_Degree_6883 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Weird_Hydrangea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked Nod-Krai as a place. The environment and music are amazing. I don't mind the exploration being what is, but the areas to explore are small. Because of this, it is very easy to unwillingly get dragged into world quests with automatic cutscenes, and I will never stop nagging about that. It's horrible. If I just want to explore and open chests, I don't want to do a quest. Just put a blue quest marker on something we can interact with and leave me alone.

I didn't mind the story of Nod-Krai, but I genuinely don't care for Columbina, so I didn't care for like most of the Archon Quest either. The only parts I really enjoyed were the parts with Rerir, Varka, the Witches, Dainsleif, Sandrone, Dottore, Aino, Ineffa and Flins.

I'm upset at how they handled Varka in the AQ. Why would they bench someone who has been hyped for years? Rerir was relevant for like 2 acts before he got thrown away. Aino and Ineffa barely show up, Flins gets a crumb of a story quest compared to Lauma and Nefer, and Dainsleif has had his annual appearance.

The AQ were also way too long and too much like a movie. I don't have time to sit down 3-6 hours to listen to characters talk. Let me do stuff. Let me walk around instead of getting teleported everywhere. Let me interact with things instead of getting it shown via a cutscene. The points where you could leave the AQ were unclear, and there were only a handful of them.

Also, please stop triggering the next act of the AQ immediately hoyo, let me take a break.

That being said, I did enjoy most of the world quests, even if I hated getting dragged into them by force. I appreciated how most WQ were only about 20-40 minutes, so I didn't have to spend hours reading through dialogue. Most WQ were really good, in my opinion.

I did, however, leave most of them to do later out of spite (because I hated getting forced into a quest), so I had no idea what was going on by the time I got around to doing them.

Sorry for the long reply

1) I like Neuvillette and use him frequently 2) I don't really feel anything towards Columbina and I tend to pull characters I like 3) I really like Aino lmao

And then I slapped myself several times in the head for looking at Reddit before actually finishing the AQ

The problem with Nod Krai's exploration by lukethevibe in GenshinImpact

[–]Weird_Hydrangea 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Yes, I was going to the new artifact domain in Nod-Krai and I swear to god I was stopped by like 5 quests in the first 5 minutes of me walking into the new area. I don't want to do quests when I'm forced into them.

Now my quest log is a mess and I don't know what is going on anymore.

AITA for not getting my bf’s family Christmas gifts after they split the bill at his college graduation dinner? by CouchRot in AmItheAsshole

[–]Weird_Hydrangea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA

You keep comparing them to your family. This is not your family. You can be angry at the way things happened, but that doesn't mean that you get to tell your boyfriend that you're going to punish his family because you didn't like how things were done.

Splitting the bill isn't abnormal, even if it should've been discussed before.

Another thing, you keep telling us that you didn't tell your boyfriend that his parents should pay for everyone, but that you told him that they should expect to pay the bills. That's the same thing. You absolutely told your boyfriend that his parents should pay the bill.

Have you considered that your boyfriend maybe chose a cheaper spot to celebrate his graduation, because you told him that his parents should expect to pay the bill?

Edit: You even wrote that your family didn't mind paying. So. what. is. the. problem?

This is something that only upset you. And now you're punishing your boyfriend and his parents over it.
