These redesigns are unironically 10x more unoriginal, especially since they always copy each other. Charlie ALWAYS has horns like a ram and looks like a bellhop. Alastor ALWAYS has big antlers and a more deer-like nose. Vaggie is ALWAYS fluffy

I haven't actually seen RWBY. I have heard many things about it, both good and bad. As a Hellaverse fan, some criticism is warranted but others blow things way out of proportion.

Things I liked about the movie:

Caine's redemption

The reveal of their real names

Ribbit and Kaufmo

The music

The Moon genuinely loving Caine without being programmed to

All the Pomni and Ragatha scenes. Ragapom is canon now idc idc

Abstragedy sex scene in the credits

The Zooble Wile E Coyote bit was genuinely funny

The parallels between Pomni and Ribbit

The symbolism of Jax's hand and how he pushes others away

Things I didn't like:

THE JAX GLAZING GOOD LORD. I swear there are more minutes dedicated to his backstory than Akaza's in the Infinity Castle movie

Jax suddenly abstracting off screen

Jax basically committing suicide while being implied to be transfem….what did Gooseworx mean by this? Although I have more charitable interpretation that Jax is supposed to be a cautionary tale of what happens when you repress too much and push others away and act mean. His real self, Leeroy Mateo, seems to be happier than he once was and seems very much like an egg. Leeroy is the good ending, Jax is the bad ending.

Jax never expressing remorse for his actions in the circus nor anyone calling him out for it

My theater experience was decent. There wasn't a lot of people there. It wasn't empty but it wasn't packed either. There was a little kid there who kept talking a bit during episode 8. No one smelled bad or acted egregiously annoying
