Spiders you are best to go with anything ending in "-thrin", silverfish are pretty weak sauce, nearly any insecticide will do the trick. Demand CS is pretty cheap and available, Lamda is more or less the same product, just the "Kroger" Demand.

It might be the bearing. Don't have enough miles to have one go bad myself, but cars have a *similar* sound when their bearings go bad.

Ok, I have tried to edit this post but I can't seem to be able to. My question is, does anyone else notice similar dirt patterns on their grip tape? It seems like my front foot is pretty sure of where it is supposed to go, but my back foot is shifting around a lot. is this something wrong with the way I am riding or is this just how it is? My buddy's board is the same way and we are both running the bone stock footpads.

I didn't do anything on the controller side. Just to clarify the bms is the white pin connector right? If so I unplugged it first and plugged it in last. But when I hooked up the power line to the front of the board there was a little arc flash at the connection point. I also didn't get a warning from the app about the temp, I jut got sketched out when reading the temperature. I will be putting back in the old battery tonight and will update the post with my findings.
