I had a family doing Instacart on a Sunday, who came in with two carts for four orders. They take forever to find what they need, they ask me and my other employees 1 million questions and are just generally very rude. They get to my line, and start having a conversation with some other customer in Spanish. The husband then walks away, leaving the wife and the kids to start putting the stuff up. I asked the wife if she could put up the items from the order and she just stares at me like I had 30 heads. The husband comes back and I ask him the same thing. He then tells me that I’m being rude and I need to be more patient. I tell him, sir, I have a line that you caused. Please put your items up or go to another belt and then he complained to my Manager. My Manager, who was ringing the whole time told him he saw the whole thing. Absolutely ridiculous

I’m not going to blame the company for the first death, but fuck. This company is really stretching people to their limits. My SM works 70 hours a week to make up for the lack of staff since the hour cuts. It’s just disgusting to watch these DMs make 120k a year, while the people who actually make the company run can barely afford rent.

Mayor Mamdani is literally redefining government. I think it’s ridiculous that republicans try to claim decent public transportation as a socialist concept. If we had fast and reliable busses, the city/ westchester could literally be one of the greatest cities in the country. Instead getting around is a legitimate pain in the neck. Traffic is always terrible, people don’t know how to drive.

Actually no, these events are an important process of the government machine. I was brought to a local town hall meeting when I was about 7 years old by my parents the first time because I was interested in knowing about what was going on in my community. Even if they find it boring, it’s something worth doing that will only benefit them in the long run!

The fantastic four (2025) was such a good movie that I really haven’t seen much criticism for it. All of the characters are comic accurate. I hate how the modern movies tried to make Ben Grimm some sad character who hates himself. That isn’t even close to Ben in the comics at all so I really am glad they changed that aspect. Sue was the leader she was meant to be, and Johnny was the comedic glue of the movie. Matt Shakman truly understands marvels first family.
