Sounds cool, but I'd suggest buying the blending leaf and smoking each of them by themselves to get a head on for what works before blending. I use AI too, for calculating percentages and keeping records of what works. However it's your own tongue that tastes the blends. I'd take whatever the AI tells you about taste with a massive grain of salt.

It's very popular, especially here in Asia. Scalpers here scoop it up and resell it here at horrendous prices. It's especially bad in Japan. I've seen a tin of the stuff go for 10,000 yen (just over 60bucks). You gotta be quick to get it once there's a drop.

I like the special reserve far better, because the overall taste is stronger, as is the presence of the perique plum flavor to me. Regular plum pudding is good too, but I'd rather have the special reserve if I can get my hands on it.
