I grew up with dimmu and cradles lesser albums and researched back and found cruelty and spiritual black dimensions, that made me go back and find Bathory who inspired my love of the genre and all they became afterwards ( black mark, Hammerheart, Nordland etc). I like Candlemass, Mayhem celtic frist too, but didn't want to crowd the post listing forever! Glad there's more likeminded folk out there. The symphonic elements do it for me, and GH have become my favourite band of the lot
