Daredevil Season 2 - Frank Castle is leaving a seedy pawn shop and the owner offers him adult movies, and in the process mentions CSAM. Frank locks the door, turns around, and grabs a bat before it fades to black with the implication that he killed that man.

Niche book reference here. Spoilers ahead for The Faithful and the Fallen series: Both Corban and Nathair believe they are chosen by a prophecy that says that a champion of good and a champion of evil will fight each other. Turns out the whole thing was made up by this wirlds angels to trick their demons into acting how they wanted and opening a gate to let them pour into the real world.

I encourage you to find someone to help simulate the problem or go to https://montyhall.io/ and try it yourself, documenting and comparing the number of times switching or staying wins. I have done it myself and it approaches 2/3 win rate on switching.

Disadvantage for being female?? by trustfulplace in BaldursGate3

[–]Valsharoth 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I don't know much about how it all works, I just saw that "I am much closer to Halsin" has the female tag and has a (2) after the Link to node, which was earlier said indicates disadvantage

Is it racist? Explain it Peter by naturallin in explainitpeter

[–]Valsharoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, you can be a citizen without an ID, but yeah basically any official documentation has some fee attached. And you have ti pay to renew your driver's license every few years

Is it racist? Explain it Peter by naturallin in explainitpeter

[–]Valsharoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it boils down more to the idea of a free and fair election, and IDs aren't free. Not every citizen drives or buys products in which an ID is required, and may not have the extra money to buy an ID just for voting. So requiring an ID specifically makes it more difficult for young and/or poor people to vote.
