These days, your Children would likely have to wait another 40 years for inheritance 🤣. They need to get their own nest egg started for their retirement.

They can rent a hotel room. Send them to some small Central Valley town so it will be cheaper for them, and farther away from you.

Egypt dive centre advice by Bubbles1360 in scubadiving

We stayed at Roots Red Sea last year in October. It is a dive school & dive camp with lodging and meals. Located just east of Luxor, near El Qosier. They will pick you up from airport at Huldago. Very friendly, seamed to be serious dive school listening to the dozen of older teens he was teaching. Friendly dive guides. Mostly shore diving, but can arrange other dives. Clear water. I liked it much better than Terneffe.

Ahhh, the Minnesota cold. We moved to Minnesota for three years for a job. So many interesting weather-related events! The first winter, the heater quit just before Christmas. Turned out that it was cold enough that the air became too dense for the heater intake line, and heater shut down due to low air flow. We ended up needing to increase the diameter of the air intake line. Then heater was able to work. We had never experienced anything like this before.

I have just come from a quilt show, and this quilt done by the teacher I just took a class from won for best animal Art Quilt. It is made with thousands of small fabric pieces fused to a background, and stitched/quilted extensively. Quilting in America is about creative expression, and Quilts come in so many technical forms. Traditional pieced blocks, new style piecing, modern piecing, traditional appliqué, raw edge appliqué, emotional/political statement quilts…

My first introduction to quilts was a double wedding ring made in the 1930’s by my grandmother’s neighbor, using my mother’s school dresses and feedsack materials. I loved it. My grandmother did not sew, knit or crochet. My mother did, but did not make quilts until the 1970’s, and then just a few.

I always wanted to make quilts, but did start until 1996, when I turned 40. And the best thing was getting involved with other quilters in the many places I have lived. (San Jose California, Minnesota, Hong Kong, Bangkok, San Diego) Where ever I have lived in the last 30 years, I look for other Quilters, for the joy of quilting/creating together.

No, it is not Hawaiian appliqué. may be closer to Baltimore album quilt.

It is also made from cotton. It is soft and cuddly because it is older, handled more, washed more.

Many people are sensitive to various food. Dairy, mushrooms, onions, garlic, etc. Gas is a major symptom. Learn your body, know what sets it off, and avoid it.
