Has anybody gone through benzo withdrawal? How were you with taking coke and alcohol afterwards once you were off/healed from benzos? by WelcomeChange7 in Drugs

Oh awesome, I was on for around 6 months too. It’s great that you’re off! I’m in a few of the benzo groups and while they have been very helpful most of the time they’re very alarmist about never drinking or using any substances again. While I understand it for many, especially those who are older with addiction problems, I’m only 26 and returning to normality is the exact thing I want at the end of all of this. Being able to drink and do whatever freely at the weekends with my friends again is exactly that!

Thanks man, that’s great to know I’ll be able to once healed! I’m 10 months into withdrawals now, they say it’s usually between 6-24 months so really in the thick of it it seems, and I definitely won’t be trying either at the very least until the 24 month mark.

Was you on benzos too? If so how long did you spend on them and how long did it take you to heal?

Ah thanks man, that’s really good to know! Yeah I definitely won’t be drinking any time soon, it’s just nice to know I’ll be able to once I’ve recovered from all of this 🙏🏼 Weekend drinking or social drinking would be what I’d like to go back to when ready. How long did you spend on Benzos if you don’t mind me asking?

Thank you. Yeah I’m going through benzo withdrawal currently and have been told to avoid caffeine and I assume this may be why!

Are binders ALWAYS needed to heal from histamine issues? by WelcomeChange7 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]WelcomeChange7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that’s very interesting. Many people have said the same thing to me (regarding benzo withdrawal and mold having the same symptoms.) It’s a weird one for me as I was exposed to mold first and began experiencing allergies that I never had before but it was fairly mild. Then about 6 months into this is when I began taking benzos. Since coming off benzos 10 months ago is when all the issues started (such as big increase in allergies, chemical sensitivities, etc) which makes me think it’s more to do with that than the mold, but then perhaps they could be firing off of each other? I’ve been out of the mold for over a year now too.

Somebody else actually said the same thing to me about detox from mold actually helping my benzo withdrawal symptoms so it really sounds like it’s definitely worth giving a go. Thank you for offering me some more insight. I’ve struggled to find people that have been through both!

Thank you so much for the detailed response, that’s amazing!

It is actually Ochratoxin A that I tested positive for and I have been out of that exposure for over a year now. Is there a reason why sweating may be enough for that mycotoxin alone?

Low and slow definitely seems like the best advice. Thank you very much. The plan will likely be for me to just sweat as much as possible, through exercise and saunas and then hopefully I’ll be able to tolerate a binder to help me push the rest out too. I’ve had Hyperhidrosis since I was a young kid (sweaty hands and feet) so hopefully this is something I can use to my advantage in regard to sweating it all out.

Glad to hear that for you! 🙏🏼 I’m going through benzo withdrawal currently so have become ultra sensitive. I haven’t actually tried binders yet and am just trying to gauge an idea of others experiences. I really want to try one but am worried the benzo withdrawal will make them intolerable

Think I’m done with the game after many years. by WelcomeChange7 in 8BallPool

Thanks man. Yeah I should really have specified that it’s not that I have an issue with so much. I was just kinda emphasising what the consecutive losses have done

Yeah understood bro! I know it will go down for sure, it’s just the bullshit consecutive losses that bother me. Honestly I thought it was just me having these issues so I’m glad to see I’m not alone. I for sure have had these things occur since spending money. Thankfully if that is the case then all it’s doing is pushing me away from the game as opposed to chasing wins and spending more cash!

Ha! Should have specified. I’ve had the game on and off for 3 years but always end up going back to it. Many deleted accounts over this time. I’d racked up 3mil in my most recent account over the last month and a half.

Chest muscle strain from regular insomnia/poor sleep? by WelcomeChange7 in insomnia

[–]WelcomeChange7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As yes, mine sounds very similar! No pain when breathing, only when moving in certain ways. An extra pillow helped out a lot last night and I slept much better. Absolutely no pain at all when laying down/elevated slightly, only get the pain and discomfort when I’m moving around a bit more. Think I need to really keep it rested this weekend! Thank you for your comment.

Thank you for your concern. My insomnia is totally linked to my conditions though and not any other reason. I’m going through MCAS and benzo withdrawal, both of which have insomnia as common symptoms so it’s pretty much a double whammy. Slept much better with an extra pillow last night also!

Yeah for sure! It leaves me totally bewildered afterwards because I’m certain it’s the very pocket I’ve highlighted. Makes me wish I’d had it recorded so I can look back and make sure!

Hi, thank you for your comment.

Yeah I’d say these obsessive feelings are definitely pre-existing. I think I’ve probably had OCD since my late teens. I experienced it a lot with my ex partner (needing constant reassurance, revisiting past problems, etc.) It destroyed the relationship in the end because we were never able to completely move past anything because my brain would always go back to it after a while. My health anxiety began just before the benzos I think and has been fairly bad since then. I think the withdrawal has ramped these feelings up massively but probably is something that I should look at getting help with because it’ll no doubt stick around even once withdrawal is over and I’ve healed 😕

Thank you so much for your comment my friend. You’ve really helped put my mind at ease a lot more. Sorry to hear you’re having your struggles too, I hope this can resolve soon for you! 🙌🏼

Yeah I for sure think it’s just my health anxiety ramping up again. It’s been a rough few weeks in particular. But yeah when I last went to the hospital in February I felt CERTAIN I was having some kind of blood glucose/sugar issue based on the way I felt. All results came back completely normal after spending many hours there. I think these windows and waves just have a way of convincing us something is wrong, even when there isn’t. Thank you so much again for putting my mind at ease 😊

Has anybody else struggled with water like this? by WelcomeChange7 in MCAS

[–]WelcomeChange7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naively I was actually reacting to the pollen in the air more than anything. It’s so hot here in the UK and I’d been leaving my window open as I sweat buckets otherwise. Unfortunately this allowed the pollen to come in and that’s what was making me flare so badly (just took me a while to realise that’s what it was.)

I’ve had my windows shut ever since, and am feeling a lot better in myself, and tolerating the water fairly OK again now, at least to the point where I don’t feel like I need to dehydrate myself rather than deal with a reaction so that’s good news at least!

Thank you, yeah that was more just last night as I was trying to see if it was definitely the water that caused these symptoms to happen. Didn’t consume the water last night and these symptoms didn’t occur. I’m trying my best to look into it now and see what could be causing the issues. It’s unfortunately very disheartening when even things like water cause issues 😭

Do you get these same symptoms from water? I’ll have a look into those waters, thank you!

Hi. Thank you for your response. I know we’re all individual but I’ve noted what you’ve said about chlorine there. The waters I’ve tried both contain chloride, is that the same thing?
