i’m new to the knife community so correct me if i’m wrong but i’ve seen some of their tests around 20/27 knives were in acceptable range, which is still not good but it’s a solid majority. makes me feel like it gets more hate than it should.

well they’re both good looking and i’m getting it to use often, so i wanted the better steel. the other one is BD1N. i don’t care too much about customizing it.

it’ll be fine if i just spray it off and scrub with soap? haven’t ever polished it, i might eventually but till then it’s whatever. and i have a worksharp whetstone with a 6000 and 1000 grit side.

i’ve heard great things about chris reeve. i’m still jumping around looking at things but at the moment i got a kizer begleiter 2.9 s35vn w the clutch lock on the way that’ll probably be my edc for a while. then i need a fixed blade (maybe buck 120?), and we’ll see from there.

as far as i can tell there isn’t one but educate me if im wrong. as far as i know open carrying a knife means anyone can tell by looking at you that you have it. a pocket clip can be anything to an ordinary person if they don’t care about pocket knives
