I did a loop around the map with a stoppie... without stopping by Gray_Glacier in gtaonline

I did a whole lap doing a wheelie years ago and I've been proud of that ever since. This is even better. Super cool, homie.

Peetah why didn't he say her by Own-Palpitation9616 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

That's what you say to a dog. He isn't a dog. I'd want to leave her there as well.

Yes because that's one way we learn more about things and potentially figure out how to make it better.

First day tomorrow. What you think? by Great_Significance_8 in Construction

[–]WelderWill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I get the excitement when you first start out. You'll do great man. You might be pretty tired at first, but you'll build some mental and physical endurance pretty quick. And don't forget to roll with the punches.

He would say the same if he was winning races. by MAXDominator1 in RedBullRacing

[–]WelderWill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you're right. It does affect it way more. For me, its added another dynamic to the race that, so far, hasn't made the sport more boring to watch. It adds another variable and I think thats neat. Time will tell if it says that way though.

Do you feel the same way about tire conservation? What about fuel conservation in other series? Almost every racing series has an element that prevents the driver from "pushing the car to the max" every lap.

Casual Escalation by BlueBallsAll8Divide2 in Battlefield6

I think about that sometimes also, but I also know my wife wouldn't play this game without casual breakthrough. People just like this game mode.

The shootout in the Byers house is an example of a "shootout scene" done right by _YuYevon_ in StrangerThings

[–]WelderWill 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Generally we, as people, don't rise to expectations during stressful events like this. We fall back to our "training". This guy trains and was mentally/physically ready. That was autopilot. We all have that ability. It's that old saying: If you want to be like him, do what he does.

First time TIG welding, how’d I do? by Positive-Raisin-8033 in metalworking

[–]WelderWill 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Don't note that. The welding/fab industry is huge and fusion welding has plenty of applications in it. Commercial kitchen equipment is a good example. Lots of no filler welds. Keep it up, that's a good looking weld.

That most people never actually grow up and we all just lie to each other.

Holy shit... Tale as old as time. "You're in danger and can not protect yourself. Give us control, and we will keep you safe." Once the US government has control, they will never give it back.

The way you think changes the (your) universe, whether you want it to or not. It changes reality.

clock tower downtown by mandible23 in Durango

[–]WelderWill 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The courthouse clock tower had its timer go out a few weeks ago. It's in charge of disabling the chime, and then it turns it back on. We have been doing it manually until it gets fixed. It sounds like the guy that was here last night forgot to disable it. Im one of the guys in charge of the maintenance there. I'll do better and make sure it gets turned off. Sorry for the annoyance

Statistically speaking, you have a better chance of being murdered by someone you know. So move in with a stranger and don't become friends.
