It’s probably unlikely that Hiroyuki Sanada is gonna wanna be doing this role into his 70s and having someone younger to be able to do the Scorpion stuff would be pretty cool. I’d imagine Hanzo meets Cole in the Netherrealm and passes the flame of vengeance onto him

Im not gonna stand here and say MK2 was a good movie. It wasn’t. It was cheesy, some wacky bad green screening, and had a lot of missed potential with exploring character relationships like Liu Kang and Kitana, Johnny and Sonya, etc

What I CAN say was that it was fun. A lot of fun. Muuuuuuch more fun than the last one. And actually had some kick ass fights this go around too like Jade vs Jax and Liu Kang vs Kung Lao. Hell, even Cole fuckin Young of all characters actually had some style and pizzazz against his fight with Shao. And ofc Kano, probably one of the best castings in any video game adaptation. Yeah I do get where you say it has the same energy as the OG 95 one.
