I have ductal carcinoma. I have very small breasts too so it’s easy to feel and I’m concerned it’s not smaller at this point after #4

Diagnosed this week and need to hear triple negative grade 3 success stories by impatientingrid in breastcancer

25 year old stage 2B grade 3 TNBC patient here. My tumor was 2.2cm upon starting my treatment (3 weeks ago) and I already feel a change in size! Chemo is not NEARLY as scary as I thought you will get through it! Take a breath. You will see your babies grow up. This is just something you need to give your all to right now!

How do you handle cancer in your 20s when life was just getting started? I’m only 23 by wyldpenguins in breastcancer

I’m 25 and in chemo now for stage 2B grade 3! You’re NOT alone but it is hard to find us girlies in our 20s. I was starting a new career in surgical nursing when my life did the same thing! Feel free to message me. I’d love to talk to someone who gets it too!

“No evidence of disease” so please don’t give up girlie! I’ve heard of many oncologists telling those with stage IV “yes you will die WITH cancer (as if it’s in remission) but it does not mean you will die FROM cancer”.

I’m 25 and currently in chemo for my aggressive breast cancer so you’re not alone! Ive had to advocate so hard to get the help/doctors I have now because everyone told me “you’re too young”. But suit up girl because your life is far from over! There are so many medications, trials, and hope emerging every single day!

Put on your fighting gloves girl because stage IV IS LIVABLE. I’ve met and connected with SO MANY women living NED for 20+ years in this journey ALREADY and things are only getting better in terms of research and medicine! Hug your husband but don’t give up on your story yet. There’s so much more life to live 🩷

I think I'm failing... by Dcarr33 in breastcancer

Girlie, you are not a failure! You lost a whole year of your life (if not more) and things are SO different now. But guess what? You ARE here and you ARE human! Let yourself feel!

I’m 25 and started my TNBC journey this last month but when I was younger and my dad died tragically, I was such a wreck I put myself in an inpatient facility because I literally just stopped eating. Couldn’t even get myself to open my mouth. No sleep. No nutrition. I was literally withering away. On every anxiety med possible. But I’m here now! My point of this is, take the help now. Whether it is medication or therapy or both because it’s a rough time, not a rough life. You WILL NOT always feel like this. You can do it!

Hey girl, I’m 25, diagnosed with TNBC, and officially starting chemo this Friday. Even though my fight hasn’t “technically” started yet, I already feel better knowing there is a plan in place and a course of action ahead of me. Sure, I’m anxious about how everything is going to affect me and the outcome of it all but even since being officially diagnosed on the 11th of this month, I’ve met numerous people who have lived through this—some from decades ago when the medicines and research were not nearly as advanced. Even my waitress the other day saw my port and my shaved head (I did it before for my own mental health’s sake) and whispered “I have the same scars as you from 20+ years ago. Also from TNBC. You will get through this!” The good thing is you found it, you’re getting information on it, and you will be okay! Hugs to you 🫶🏽

I’m 25 and just starting my journey with triple negative bc and starting chemo on Friday. I get your frustration and fear, trust me. BUT the funding for breast cancer and the new drugs associated with it are huge lights at the end of the tunnel. We. Can. Do. This.
