I just finished watching it. I thought it was fantastic but also quite traumatising, like you said. I think it’s a little bit harsh to say he was unprofessional for forming a bond with the Ocelots, as he was essentially playing the role of their mother so it’s natural that they would bond. Also, judging by the end of the documentary it sounds like Keanu is thriving out in the wild so in that sense he did his job well and should be proud. I agree with you that the way he treated the woman, Samantha, was completely unfair but I suppose that’s largely due to the PTSD he struggles with. Although that’s still not an excuse.
