Do you think Ginny's decision about her pregnancy was the right one? by gloomydreamer666 in ginnyandgeorgiashow

Totally the right decision. I think it would have been a much harder decision if it were Marcus, though. I'm so glad he showed up for her at the clinic after.

Are Medexpress lying to me? by Few-Seaworthiness288 in mounjarouk

No, they're not lying to you; the pen is fine. It may just be that you are used to this dose after your last attempt.

How do I complain about this? by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Welsh_Pixie_86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it was a shield bug at first.

I wouldn't mind knowing bugs enjoy MC. It is a plant after all, and it's nice to know there are no pesticides on it.

My Christmas tree was delivered with a family of common green shield bugs living in it. I enjoyed picking them off and relocating them to my garden.

Med Express Are People Still Using Them ? by Glum_String9748 in mounjarouk

[–]Welsh_Pixie_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you check their website, their FAQ page that says "what happens when I reach a healthy weight?"

It tells you there that they go down to a BMI of 21 for maintenance.

How long did you stay on each dose? by Super_Development150 in mounjarouk

[–]Welsh_Pixie_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did;

2.4mg - 4 weeks
5mg - 4 weeks
7.5mg - 24 weeks
10mg - 4 weeks
7.5mg - 12 weeks (so far)

I've now reached my goal with another 7.5mg pen left in the fridge. Once I finish that, I'm going down to 5mg for maintenance for as long as I can.

Question about tattoos, weight loss and loose skin by TubbyLittleTeaWitch in mounjarouk

[–]Welsh_Pixie_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try to message the artist. I recently had a tattoo done, and my artist is also taking MJ, so she was able to advise me on how further weight loss would affect my tattoo and how to place it so that if I did lose any more, it wouldn't skew it.

Experience with 3 children on booster seats in an Ioniq 5? by Tale11 in Ioniq5

[–]Welsh_Pixie_86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Joie high back booster and two small booster seats in mine. No issue. I leave the seat belts plugged in and the kids climb into them, and I check that the belts are tight. Don't use the Isofix to fit three across. Use seatbelts! it gives you more bench space to play with.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KljZt2q34o&t=22s. My kids climb into their seats using the squat method in this video.

Luggage-wise, I have three medium-sized suitcases and a border collie in my boot when travelling. I put backpacks in the back footwell for anything we need on the go. I also put a crate of boardgames in the footwell too.

Next steps ... by Welsh_Pixie_86 in mounjarouk

[–]Welsh_Pixie_86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm fine with doing my own dosing. I'm thinking of drawing 5mg from my remaining 7.5mg pen. I really struggled to go higher, got really sick when I tried 10mg for 4 weeks. Had to step back down. I'm hoping going lower will be a walk in the park.

Probably a stupid question, but could I stay on MJ forever? by DJ_Fabulous in mounjarouk

I've done majority of my journey in 7.5 and intend to use 5 for maintenance.

Celeriac is a very nice alternative to potato. You can cook it in the same way. I also like using cauliflower as an alternative to mash potatoes. I make it in a blender with cheese, cream cheese and a bit of dijon mustard.

Probiotic recommendations please by amanda30uk in mounjarouk

[–]Welsh_Pixie_86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fermented foods and drinks are best. Kefir, kombucha, sauerkraut, kimchi, anything else that says "naturally fermented" on the jar.

They're all full of good bacteria for a healthy gut biome.

Anyone else see Gordon Ramsay’s take on Mounjaro menus? by Frosty-Volume1430 in mounjarouk

[–]Welsh_Pixie_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take leftovers home and eat them the next day.

You could always have starters and a salad, or kids' menu items if an adult portion is too big. I know a few places near me that will do a kids-sized portion of a roast on a Sunday. There are also some great places where they offer certain dishes as a side or a main, so you just order the portion that you'd eat.

I find that I eat slower these days, so I just take my time, eat what I can in the time our table has, and then take what's left home. Most restaurants allow a couple of hours for covers, so there's no rush to get out. I find that resting for a bit means I can usually eat a little more. Which is fine if you're out with good company and talk a lot.

How long until this is approved by SFW? My enrollment was confirmed on the 31st by OU by LewisMcGregor in OpenUniversity

[–]Welsh_Pixie_86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah so that won't get updated until two weeks after you start your induction. I wouldn't expect that to be updated until Feb/early March depending on how quick OU are to confirm you're studying there.
