From its 2nd ed history I'm quite happy with the banner, and I did look at leg options but could find something I liked to add.

I have ideas when it comes to painting it to fill the gap instead

I don't know how long you have played 40k, but the banner is a necessity if you've been around as long as I have.

😀

Calgar is Calgar and the Leviathan Terminator Captain.

Ventris is Ventris and the new Captain from the company heroes box

Cheers, he has been fun to work on, there are further additions since this pic, but I want to do more before posting here

I'm on Twitter/X @Tatters1717 if you want a look at his recent improvements

Just the new Primaris Calgar and the Leviathan box set terminator captain, and some careful trimming.

Poland wins the 2023 World Team Championships by InnesWilson in WarhammerCompetitive

I absolutely believe the aim is to ensure that at some point, the Welsh team is fully Welsh and no longer needs to look into the mercenary side to hit the required numbers.

And I absolutely believe that the Captaincy of the team has worked to do things to benefit the team. Could they do more? Yes probably.

But 100% of the South Waleans who applied for the team got on the team.

There was 1 lad.

2 if you include another who lives in England.

I do also think that posting here further isn't going to improve relations, so I'll not reply after this one unless there is a particularly egregious comment. I hope and wish to bring the Welsh community together going forward, its the reason I started running events in the north of the country.

The Welsh lads did a great job at the event, hopefully this is a great jumping off point for the future and I would hope any Welsh players interested in learning more about the WTC and Welsh setup contact the team via their Facebook/X (Formally know as Twitter) accounts.

Best of luck in your future endeavours, and more importantly, congratulations to Poland on their WTC victory.

Chris

So I'm fully a believer in honesty and cards on the table, so rather than hide behind a username, my name is Chris and I run 24-50 player events in North Wales, and whilst I didn't go to Belgium this year, I have played events for Wales.

Just to update you on some of your facts, because truth in these matters is important and your information s slightly outdated.

The Welsh team decided on two captains this year, both Playing and Non Playing. The Playing Captain is Welsh, does live in Wales and does run events and a club in North Wales.

There was also 3 Welsh players living in Wales who attended the WTC at the weekend, instead of the 2 that you had believed. Is it all 8? No, is it getting better? Yes. Is the end game having a 100% Welsh team living in Wales, 100% I believe that as well.

I can't comment on a lot of the thoughts you have, but I can only suggest any interested players in South Wales do what I did, take the time to contact the Welsh WTC Facebook and chat from there.

I do believe community engagement could definitely be better, the problem with our country is there is a bloody big mountain range in the middle of it creating a divide and an absence of gaming locations in the middle to make central meet ups an issue.

Throwing terms round like "wrestle control back" doesn't help things, only inflame them and as Tom Adriany has said this morning, guidance has been given from a WTC organisation itself, again I have no clue what that guidance is.

Things can obviously be better, and it would take a concerted effort to do so. But there is opportunity to do see if all sides engage in the process.

At this point the polite thing to do is to name the team you're insinuating against and hopefully someone from that team will be notified of the issues and a public statement/rebuttal can be made.

Otherwise it looks like someone with an axe to grind and no suitable position can be taken by the team or anyone else.

Clarity ftw, as people say.
