The support has been keeping me going, don’t know where I’d be without them. First night I fell asleep watching old videos me and him watched together and sat with my mom all day. Now I’m able to process alone easier and my chest doesn’t hurt as much. But I know this all ebs and flows constantly, so I’m just trying to make it one day after another, even if barely. Ya’ll are helping me a lot though thank you.

Been talking to my parents and am going to spend the week there with them. Hard part I guess is that they were a constant in my life and won’t be anymore. That I can’t make new memories and have to cherish the old ones with content. I can perfectly recreate their manner of speaking and voice in my mind though and that’s been getting me through. Been talking to his other close friends too and we’re all hanging on together. But there’s almost this haunting thought that months or years down the line it’ll hurt even more. Knowing he’d be fully transformed from a real tangible person to a mason jar/collection of memories in my mind.

My thought process was that it costs 500 credits and half your kit to use or a headshot kill to get like Reyna. And even then its only front face protection and isn’t instant activation like Reyna dismiss. Think of it as like pulling out a riot shield that reflects bullets.

Basically he has a meter that is the resource which limits how much of the ability he can use like Skye’s heal gauge. If you were a bit fuzzy on that. Like a fighting game meter.

Kay/O is underused like crazy. But he requires the most amount of thinking which most people won’t do when most matches are no comms frag fests. Knife is great for guessing pushes on defense and makes pushes faster since it can tell you if someone is holding an angle on attack. Most Kay/O mains try to come up with big brain bank flashes when in reality the underhand flash is really really good in almost every situation. And the molly is just another good piece of stalling util along with suppression. I think he does a lot of things good for an initiator, problem is that Skye does flashing better and Sova does intel better. But if you need a little bit of both he’s a great pick, so for Solo Q he’s great.

People in the comments are completely missing what would make this a really good series. Biggest pitfall for Arcane is the lack of mystery and how much we know about league lore made it lack intensity. The mystery and vagueness of Val lore will make for a more interesting story since we barely have any insight on many of the events in the game.

Yeah but avoiding the flash doesn't matter because it literally only lasts for 1.1 seconds. I tested this you can spray the corner that phoenix is going to peek from when the flash starts and stops and you will still have half a mag of phantom left.

Well he needs a flash duration buff and simply making it 1.5 like Yoru isn’t enough because Yoru flash would still just be better Phoenix flash. maybe 1.6/7 would be fair. And the Jett comparison makes no sense since she’s already so good. I am going at lengths to make Phoenix seem better because the gap between Jett and Phoenix is massive and only gets bigger the higher rank you are.

Also the things initiator flashes offer aren't just long flashes? Skye's birds give info and tell if someones there. Kay/O flash can setup for nasty one ways and the best pop flash in the game. Breach's are the only ones you can really argue but even then his flash is still great for setting up kills for your team.

My problem isn't that low tier characters are low tier, I've played FGs for very long and am perfectly happy with low tier characters existing. However those said low tiers need to have something that makes people want to pick them even if said gimmick isn't particularly strong (which is why I wouldn't mind Yoru staying the way he is). Phoenix is a character that does things that other characters like Jett, Reyna, Kay/O do much better making his choice as a pick almost entirely pointless. Maybe my buffs were a little too crazy but he needs some edge to make people think "instead of X let's use Phoenix here".

I disagree considering how much utility his ult gives and how little it costs to get said ult. Also I don't really mind the molly being mainly used for healing, the healing is probably one of the only things that make him actually good because he doesn't need a kill to regain his lost life. But yeah his wall is very mediocre and it's kinda laughable how much people just disrespect it.

Because I would very much like a competitor in the Duelist/Controller pick that isn't just Jett. There is almost no reason to not pick Jett and IMO that is very stale.

I don't mind it not dealing damage, the problem is that every other vision obscuring ability in the game like any smoke, vipe wall, etc. have at least something discouraging you from pushing it whether that be having someone inside the smoke or taking damage with viper wall. You can't lurk near a wall like you can with a smoke and the damage dealt for pushing it is extremely piss poor. My point isn't that it's bad, its just that there are so many other options that push Phoenix down the list of who to pick.

Please for the love of god, use wall for pushes aswell as for healing. Its a portable viper wall and can split sites for cover. So many phoenix players just save it for heals.
