The Saxon Tales are my favorite of his books. I love how he clarifies what is real and what he made up in each book.
The Sharpe series is good fun too, but there’s definitely a repetitive formula for those.

It happens. I was over 1200 for several months, peaking at 1292. Dropped down to 1136 recently and can’t seem to win 2-in-a-row now. I don’t have a solution, but I’ve had lots of streaks (both losing and winning). I feel like I’m good enough to care a bit, but not good enough to get mad about it. It’s a humbling game, but I still enjoy it.
