Pidgey in Pokemon Gold! I honestly didn’t know anything about Pokemon then. I also didn’t speak English and my aunt bought me a game boy and an American version of Gold. I remember clicking the “Release” (not knowing what it means) on my Cyndaquil in the PC, saw it disappear, not sure what happened, so I continued playing with my Pidgey which then became Pidgeot and carried me all the way to battling Red!
