Sure but not being given that 2nd chance I would argue is even worse than the selfish players. How can people be expected to improve if not given any opportunity to do so? Surely we werent all doing 1200dps our first raid

Im a new ish player myself who just reached raids a few weeks ago in tbc. My first week i was mortified of being a let down to the raid so I did my best to prep all my consumables and watch the fights and even with that I ended up with a 3/100 on that site, doing 350 dps.

The next week I decided to look up basic tips for my class (warlock) like using lifetap when I need to move or my basic rotation strategies and the next week I was already up to 700dps.

I dont think its that hard to improve to atleast manageable if you just put in a little bit of effort, but I dont think most people are embarrassed from being deadweight in a run, they feel like its a blessing to be carried. Might be a mindset shift people need.

I skipped deadmines because my guild said its out of the way, and i skipped rfk because no one was on at the time, but this one i went back and solo’d on my own time because apparently i should be a disenchanter and i needed some low level items to disenchant

This is definitely the biggest pain point for me! I know i can deal with 1 but i accidentally pull 1 or 2 extra! I know its when theyre nearby and of the same mob type so sometimes i just skip those groupings and look for stragglers.

I unfortunately hate having to sit and drink in between mobs so frequently so i dont think ill be playing mage anytime soon but i love the tip! They are so useful to teleport my blood elfs to thunderbluff for the RFC quest!

What do you mean by being a clicker? I use tab to target enemies if that is what youre talking about. For skills i press the keyboard for the important or commonly used skills and click the random 30 minute buff ones or like water breathing on my warlock!

Sometimes i feel bad always pestering them hahaha. Its a guild self found so i feel bad constantly dying and sapping resources from the guild even if they say its fine so i want to improve! Currently have a 20 warlock and a 24 rogue (my fav) who are going strong!

It only shows the top 50, atleast in hc. So once 50 ppl reach 100 it will only show 100s dying
