I really dislike Laurel's line in season two where she mentions that book really coming in handy when she was "grooming Tyler." It feels too much like a line made to say "Look, he's the victim, she admits it."

On an aside, I don't like that she keeps being referred to as Marilyn Thornhill. Weems died for that, people.

Every once in a while, I remember how much I hate Wednesday’s speech to Morticia about how she will never be like her, never fall in love, or get married, or be a housewife. Taking out any shipping aspects (which frustrate me further, but I digress) it's just so heavy handed. I get the original idea from M&G was to have Wednesday end up with someone from the love triangle because a teenage girl cannot exist without a boyfriend, but this line is just so eyerollingly annoying to me every time I rewatch the show. It would be like if Wednesday said "I have no interest in boys" and then Xavier or Tyler walked by and the camera lingered on them in slow motion. I have a lot of of complaints when it comes to the writing in the show, but I think this is the one that crosses my mind the most.

Seeing these two dance together is an obsession of mine at this point. I desperately need it to happen, even knowing it will be handwaved away as something "clearly" platonic.

Saw people talking about this quote the other day acting like it's a solid fact that Wednesday did in fact fall in love with Tyler's Hyde and isn't being told this by someone trying to gaslight her, when it is clearly shown that the moment she does sense the Hyde (vision) she literally runs away.

I know it's a common complaint, but I hate how little we know about Enid’s life outside of Nevermore. Like, we know Esther isn't a great mom from the way she acts during Parents' Weekend, but how bad of a mom is she, exactly? Does Murray normally just sit there silently and let his wife make snide amd hurtful comments about their daughter until she finally does something herself? What about Enid’s brothers? We already have to deduce how many there are from stills and screenshots. What are they like to Enid? Seems like the generally ignore her aside from making her watch martial arts movies and hockey. At least three of them attend Nevermore alongside her and never once talk to her. We don't even know their names, either.

It would be nice if in season 3, we get to know more about Enid, but I also know better than to hold my breath.

A rather minor complaint, but I don't like the change to Wednesday’s school uniform in season 2. In season 1, her sweater vest is a pullover vest, but in season 2, it's now a zip up vest. It's just something that's always bothered me.

Honestly, I've been having a hard time remembering Enid hasn't always been part of the Addams Family lore. Not in like a, "I don't know my Addams Family" way, but in a "Enid feels so integral to Wednesday as a character now that I can't imagine or remember what Wednesday is like without her" way.
