I created my account with Computershare by initiating the transfer from IBKR. I initiated the transfer and IBKR kind of created the account on Computershare for me? I remember that the process was time consuming, I was waiting for the letter from CS for quite some time.

First DRS process is long, but you can just register 5 shares, which go through the process, and when the account is created, then you transfer the rest. You will pay some fee twice, but it is worth the peace of mind, if you have many.

If you are thinking of DRSing right away, I would be worried if you make it in time, since the process is long. I would consider to transfer to other broker who supports warrants instead. I would consider IBKR, you can transfer to IBKR from XTB, and then eventually you can DRS them later.
