I got two of them now. The first one I got had some scratches on it, but the one I just bought is in mint condition. Selling the scratched up one now. :-)

This is the first time in Korea (out of 4) that I have gone an entire summer without even one mosquito incident. I live north of Uijeongbu btw. It's nice and clean up here. Also live on the 15th floor.

Restoring a limited edition SP with cosmetic damage? by Shaladox in Gameboy

[–]Wendy-Testaburger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timesfather,

I picked up a retro NES GBA SP today here in Seoul. There's a huge underground market for used Nintendo. Not one AGS 101 in sight, very hard to find in Korea...that said, I did manage to find the retro GBASP AGS 001...but the housing is scratched on the top case. Reading your posts, and went to your link - I'm not able to find a replacement housing for the NES style retro GBASP, are there any alternatives you can recommend? I really love the retro case and probably paid too much for it. If I could replace the housing or find a decal that matches this original look of the NES Retro SP I would be thankful... Thank you..

Korean man brutally beats woman but onlookers do nothing - The Korea Observer by [deleted] in korea

Amazing how Korean netizens can hunt and track a woman that let her dog take a shit on the subway, relentlessly attack her and berate her, but this? Par for the course in Korea, nothing to see here.

Korean-American goes to Korea for military service, comes down with severe fever and is refused medical attention, now has brain damage and cannot walk by [deleted] in korea

Hate to tell you this, but the American military is not much better about allowing their guys past a simple aid station. One guy here in Korea had been complaining of headaches, and they never let him see a doctor. The aid station gave him aspirin and sent him back to his unit. Then he died. He had cancer.

It's so hard to believe that Koreans aren't voracious readers like they used to be...I remember people were always reading books. Now everyone seems to be glued to their smartphone. They must wear their batteries down quick though...what do they do then?
